Perched on a hillside above the Valdarno area, between the cities of Florence, Arezzo and Siena, the Lazy Oak villa is surrounded by acres of olive groves. The main house on two level has been fitted with bedrooms, bathrooms and new kitchen whilst retaining its old terracotta floors and beamed ceilings. A dining loggia for al fresco meals enjoys a breathtaking view of the countryside. The infinity pool is set just a few steps from the house on a green terrace furnished with loungers.

VILLA LAMA - A window overlooking the river

The villa is located within a complex dating back to the 11th century, of which some ruins remain. The building, built as a monastery of the Olivetan monks around 1400, saw various owners until 1878. It was renovated by the current owners who made it their country home. Villa Lama, nestled in the countryside and surrounded by the Casentino hills, is located on the banks of the Arno River, accessible via a short path.

The Villa is situated in an ancient country building located in Arezzo, twenty minutes walk from the historic center and surrounded by shops, supermarkets, restaurants within a few minutes walk. By car you reach the downtown and the treain station in about 10 minutes; moreover, the structure is close to places of interest such as the Equestrian Centre.
