Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Pulaski County

Exactly as pictured and described. It was close to the Army base where our SIT was graduating from basic training and it was a great place to hang out, relax and spend time with our graduate. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting this area!

The house was beautiful and the area was super quiet and peaceful. The host was super responsive and helpful. Very friendly and made us feel right at home. They checked in with us while we stayed there and I thought that was such a nice thing to do. We will be back!

The place was comfortable and functional. The small road leading there was winding and unpaved in stretches. It could be hazardous during inclement weather, or if people don't drive slowly enough. It is not a far drive from I-44 though, so we didn't mind it. The place was clean, nothing super fancy, but we had a nice stay. I appreciated the Dish satellite service, in addition to the smart TV. That made it convenient for me to watch the NHL playoff game I was interested in. The sink closest to the toilet in the master bedroom seemed to have the hot and cold water handles reversed from the normal order, but there was plenty of hot water available, so it was no big deal. The hosts were very nice and thoughtful. I think the place was priced fairly for our group of six, and we would be willing to stay there again in the future.

We had a great stay. We were in town for our daughters graduation. Lisa's home was very inviting and perfect for our family.

Very close and convenient to the Army base. Big enough for your soldier to relax with all family members!

Wendall was great responsive, Communicative, Polite all the things you could ask for in a host, House and surroundings area as described would definitely stay again.

The location was very beautiful and woodsy, with lots of room to walk the dog (and see a deer or two)! The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, pots, and pans. There is just the right amount of furniture without being cramped. The only downside is the parking area is a little cramped.

We had a gymnastics competition the following morning that I overlooked, it was a short notice booking on our end, so we're super happy they trusted us to stay. We got there late at night & left in the morning so didn't get to do/see much in the area but the home is beautiful, the kitchen looked well stocked, & their back deck looked that much better! Wish our trip would've been a bit longer so we could've enjoyed it🖤 There was plenty of games for extra entertainment, which we appreciate even tho we didn't get to play them. The only downside was a problem with their washing machine but I communicated that with them so, hopefully they address it before the next renter arrives. Overall, our super short stay went well!

Perfect place for the price. Just like the pictures and just like described! Small and cozy but for one person on a fishing trip it was just right!

It was a really great relaxing stay for us all! This is our 3rd stay here and we are already looking at our calendars for our next stay! Heidi was so easy to communicate with and responded so quickly with the coffee maker problems we had! She had a new one sent right to our room!! It’s so beautiful on the inside and the huge outdoor space looking over the lake is the best view we’ve ever seen at the lake. We highly recommend this condo for a fun vacation or getaway!!

The condo was a great find for a quick weekend away. We lucked out finding the dog park close by as there wasn’t a ton of area to potty the pups. Shantel was so kind and accommodating for us to bring all our pups. She was so communicative and sweet.

We had a great stay. Very large living space. Like huge!! Everything was super clean and a thoughtful host. Lots of a little things to make you stay more enjoyable. We will definitely be staying here again.

I decided to take my kids on a last minute spring break trip and was happy to find this great deal! There were no hidden fees which was a plus! There was lots a sleeping space for everyone and the location and view was perfect! We came in the spring so the water was too cold to enjoy but we still floated in our inflatable boat! Lol we couldn’t find a thing to do besides a cave tour which was pretty neat but pricey for a big family. The only thing we were able to do was shop a little and eat good! I was disappointed at how boring the ozarks was this time of year! But it had nothing to do with the home or the location of it. Everything was nice and clean, we just came at the wrong time I guess! There were at least 2 swimming pools on the property but they were both closed for the season. Once I do more research about things to do at the Ozarks, we will likely be back and rent from Kurt and Peggy again if the home is available! Overall good experience, just boring in March! Lol

We are a family of four with two dogs driving across the country. We were looking for a quiet and serene place to stay not too far from the interstate and Sue's place was perfect! The natural setting is absolutely beautiful and Sue could not have been more kind and welcoming! I would love to go back and stay longer to enjoy all of the amenities that are provided like kayaking and fishing. If you're looking for a rustic place to recharge with family or friends this is definitely the space for you!

Beautiful and Private. The home is clean and as described. The interstate is nearby and can be heard from the front porch but not at all from the inside. The view of the stars was amazing and the property was well kept. Other reviews also mentioned the driveway and it is a somewhat steep gravel road with turns. It was a little bit of a challenge in an 2WD SUV pulling a light trailer, but doable. It really should be mentioned in the main listing, but other than that the description and home matched perfectly. I would definitely recommend and will be giving 5 starts.

Great place to stay. Very clean and functional. Plenty of space. Great location, about 10 minutes to the army base. Would definitely recommend. Plenty of extra blankets and small heater for the chilly mornings. AC/heat great. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Had all we needed right there. Will definitely choose again.

Great cabin with a very nice outdoor area. Good proximity to restaurants and shopping and the base.

The property is located within 15 minutes of Fort Leonardwood Base. Restaurants and Walmart is less than 10 minutes away. The Kitchen was well stocked and the space was perfect for a family of 6.
