We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

Modern architectural kiwi bach nestled on the edge of a tidal lagoon between Ligar Bay and Tata Beach. The Bach is a compact 55sqm with a large sheltered and covered deck with all day sun. A master bedroom links on to a compact lounge & ensuite bathroom, dining & kitchen area from either side all with full views of the water & lagoon. There is a seperate sleeping pod with a Queen size bed 2 metres from main dwelling for an extra 2 guests. Amazing second Hot outdoor shower under the trees.

This well crafted stone cottage is close to beautiful Golden Bay bush walks, old historic gold workings, lonely beaches, the Mussel Inn, swimming holes and much more. A striking building nestled in a tranquil and private setting, makes for a relaxing stay that would suit couples and solo adventurers alike. Literally on Kahurangi National Park's doorstep! The host's partner has developed an extensive network of tracks , some easy walks and some more challenging, with great views of the bay.

Bach, Golden Bay Lodge

The Bach offers wonderful open plan living with views out to the ocean. Accommodating four guests easily with its individual bedrooms and generous kitchen space. It has a fully equiped kitchen, a covered BBQ area, a cosy log fire for winter and Starlink Wifi. We offer private beach access and a shared spa pool with expansive views across the ocean. Take a stroll through 4ha of gardens and sample fruits from our organic orchard. The Bach is a perfect couple or family retreat!

Te Whare o Kea - A tiny house with a big heart!

Te Whare o Kea provides simple shelter for trampers, bikers and other nature lovers. The location also makes it perfect for a retreat. It is a non profit social enterprise and supports kea and kiwi conservation work. Opening in 2020, Te Whare o Kea is a Gold Kea Sponsor, and to date has donated over $20,000 to the Kea Conservation Trust. It also supports the monitoring of kea nest sites in the Cobb Valley and maintains a 17 trap trapline and trail camera behind Te Whare.
