This rural farmhouse in Carrownagry 3km from the small town of Mullagh was built in 1935, restored and renovated by the original owner's grandson in 2022. It is located in the beautiful countryside of West Clare. My peaceful cottage on the Wild Atlantic Way has views of rolling countryside and the wild Atlantic Ocean. Easy access to the Cliffs of Moher and Doolin, the Burren UNESCO Geo park and Loop Head. Five mins walk from the town with shops, pubs and restaurants and close to beautiful beaches for swimming and surfing. Ideal for families, solo travelers and couples with an abundance of hiking and cycle trails. Miltown Malbay is the home of traditional Irish music with nightly trad music sessions.

Glanleam Cottage - Wild Atlantic Way

Our cottage is just a short walk from Spanish Point beach and on the outskirts of Miltown Malbay home to the Willie Clancy music festival. Shannon Airport is 40 minutes away. It comprises of 2 double beds and 1 single. Recently refurbished with new shower room, wood flooring, stone fireplace with stove. There are two sofas in the living room, table and chairs. A 43” LED freeview TV with PlayStation II and games. A DVD player with a selection of movies. Pocket Wi-fi/Mifi is available.

This cottage is located in a quiet area in the countryside. The house itself is situated at the back of the family property and it has beautiful views of Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher and the Atlantic Ocean on the Wild Atlantic Way. We are approximately 15 minutes drive to the Cliffs of Moher and 7 minutes drive (4.2km) to Doolin village. The town of Lisdoonvarna is nearby. And the beeches of Fanore and Lahinch are about a 15 minute drive away.
