Stay with the family in this large house with private parking 3 miles from Silverstone. Village of Syresham has a pub and a small shop/post office both a few minutes walk away, good travel stopover on A43 or centre for events at Silverstone racetrack, Stowe House and National Trust Gardens. Historic towns of Buckingham, Banbury and Brackley nearby.
“This was our first Airbnb experience, and we did not know what to expect, however David and Francine were amazing hosts and could not have done anything more, to make my wife and I feel welcome and relaxed. To say they go 'the extra mile' would be an understatement. Fantastic hosts, with a beautiful home, in wonderfully peaceful location. We will, without doubt be returning at some point in the future. Thank you both. Stephen and Caroline.”
My home is a 15 minute walk from Buckingham, 13 miles from Milton Keynes and M1, 17 miles from Aylesbury, 11 miles from Bicester and M40. X5 bus goes to Milton Keynes or Bicester and Oxford. Buckingham is famous for its University and Old Gaol, many independent shops and restaurants and riverside walk. Close to Silverstone, Stowe (NT), Bletchley and Waddesdon Manor (NT). The room has a desk/dressing table and double wardrobe. The bathroom is for your use only. Sorry, no long term bookings.
“Very well positioned for access to Silverstone Circuit, FYI- for main car parks take the Stowe road, 15 minutes and very little queuing. Jenny is a very welcoming and attentive host. Single bedroom with private use bathroom, across the landing, both clean and bright. Off road parking, breakfast, lovely house and garden, what's more to want. Will be staying again next time I'm visiting the area.”
A great country getaway. Explore life on our smallholding and former watermill. Peaceful riverside location with countryside footpaths, farm animals and ample wildlife on your doorstep. Give the family pet pigs a rub on the tummy, birdwatch, spot a hare and glimpse a fox. Plenty of country pubs with one at the end of an adventurous walk along our footpath. Relax in the cosy cottage with an open fire, a good book and a bottle of wine or visit Silverstone Race Track, Bicester Village or Oxford.
“Tingewick Mill is in its own little corner of England. The cottage is lovely and warm with a beautiful little fire for to make the lounge nice and toasty after a long day! When we arrived, Becca was there to meet us and showed us around. There was some eggs and milk in the fridge which was a lovely touch. The beds were nice and comfy and the rooms stayed warm all night. It's well situated with plenty of walks and other attractions around the local area. We'd definitely consider staying here again!”
