Outside is a patio garden & furniture. Enter via a double height dining hall, to an open plan kitchen and living room, traditionally furnished with exposed beams and deep window recesses. On the door step to the Durham Dales close to Hamsterley Forest, Raby Castle, Bowes Museum, Beamish Museum, Shildon Railway Museum. Our village has the award winning “Quarry Tea House” serving excellent food. ‘The Joiners Arms’ + visiting food vans. 10mins walk to The Dairy Barn ice cream parlour We also have cross row cottage in Hunwick.
