Vacation home for rent daily or weekly. Vacation accommodation in a renovated log house. The house is located on the same property as the landlord's residential building. The house is 74 sqm on two floors with a small hall, kitchen, bathroom and TV room on the lower floor. Open sleeping loft with two single beds 90x200 and small bedroom with two single beds 90x200. Steep stair to upper floor. Smoking or pets are not allowed. During the coldest season, we would prefer to have your request 48 hours before arrival so we have time to raise the temperature in the cabin.

Dala cottage with lake property

Welcome to our cozy cottage right by the water with sauna, fireplace and private jetty. Here you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, magical lake views and fishing right outside the door. In winter, you can swim in the ice water from the jetty, and if the weather permits, ski tracks are run up on the lake. The surroundings consist of berry and mushroom forests with beautiful walking trails. In summer, you can take a trip on the rowing boat or enjoy the evening sun on the terrace. The cottage is only 15 minutes from Falun and 45 minutes from Romme Alpin.

Guest house with lake view

Here, it feels like you're in the countryside, but still in town. You live in peace and quiet, without TV, by Lake Varpan with only 2.5 km to Lugnet's ski stadium and 3 km to Falun of Falun. You have 600 meters to the forest and Lugnet Nature Reserve. Swim in the lake from the jetty in the summer or take a dip in the ice hole in winter. Wood-fired sauna is available, bring your own wood if you want to use the sauna. In winter, if the weather and wind allow, there may be a plowed ice rink/walking path on the lake, and ski trails are usually prepared.

In the middle of nature with many nice walking paths along a cultural-historical hiking trail. Rich mushroom and berry forest. Only 3 km from Falu Mine, 5 km to Falu city center and 6 km to Lugnet sports facility. Possibility to rent a sauna on your own jetty. In winter, it is close to ski trails, long-distance skates and slalom slopes. Charger for hybrid car is included.

Charming farmhouse with high ceilings, rural located just outside Falun. Around the corner is Lugnets nature reserve with great opportunities for cycling, hiking and running. The arena of tranquility is only 4 km away. Experience the 2027 World Ski Championships with us! During this event period, we offer bookings with a minimum stay of five nights. The house is located on the quieter side of the stadium, which means that you avoid the worst traffic during competitions. On the property, there are horses and cats.

Close to Carl Larsson Farm, Falu Mine and Falun, this is a perfect base for those who want to explore Dalarna. Due to the high level of interest and increasing number of guests for our cottage, we no longer offer breakfast.

Built by Nobel Prize winner Selma Lagerlöf's friend Valborg Olander, with typical details of the time remaining in the house. Pets are welcome, we ourselves have dogs in the house as we live in the other part of the building. Guests are welcome to use parts of the garden.
