This 1946 "caretakers" cabin sits high on a hill over looking the spectacular views of the Mississippi basin farmland. Our cozy one bedroom with loft cabin has much to offer in a private setting. The kids will enjoy the ladder stairs to their own special indoor camping/sleeping area. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals or enjoy the outdoor kitchen on the large patio with a Green Egg or Weber gas grill, and built in stone fire pit. Yellow Cottage Guest House

Yellow Cottage was built around 1895. It retains most of it's original features with high, wood ceilings, original windows and trim. Second floor bedroom has an angled ceiling, at 6 .5 ft tall in center. The house is vintage with basic comforts for sleeping, bathing, cooking and wifi for internet connectivity. The front porch has 2 chairs to view the eastern horizon for sun rises and moon rises. And, a large agriculture field locally known as the Big Field.

Come enjoy a peaceful stay in this cozy 3 bed 2 bath home! You will see a lot of wildlife just from the kitchen and living room windows. At the moment there is no internet but a smart tv that you connect a hotspot to and stream Netflix, Hulu etc if you wish. There is a gas grill along with a full kitchen. Minutes away from Sparta World Shooting and Recreation Complex and Pyramid State Park. 30 miles from Rend and Kinkaid Lake.

Nora’s Nest is nestled Beside and Upstairs, over Stella and Me Cafe. The space has a 2nd bedroom upon request, see full description. There is a tiny courtyard in front, for enjoying a bit of the outdoors and the activity on N. Main St. We are walking distance to many historical homes, gift shops, and other restaurants. The space has a bohemian charm with lots of personal touches you’re sure to enjoy!!!
