Dinesh is a marvellous host! He was extremely helpful from the get-go. He was proactive and quick to responsive when I met with minor inconveniences around the house. But the location overall was pretty convenient!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to leave a review about this place. The first thing worth mentioning is the location — the apartment is very close to the center of Thamel, just a 5-minute walk to all the cafes, restaurants, and spots with great European-style breakfasts. Secondly, the hosts are super friendly! On the first day, they showed me where to buy affordable fruits and vegetables and even recommended some local places with delicious food. Overall, they were always quick to help and respond to any requests I had (and I had quite a few, haha). It’s only a 10-minute walk to Durbar Square — everything is really close by. Highly recommend!

Feel-good hotel in a nice location! The staff is very friendly. The amenities of the hotel are great. We also highly recommend eating! Clear recommendation!

So happy we decided to stay here with all the choices available! This family is absolutely wonderful, all of them and Madhu is an angel. Very peaceful area away from the craziness that is Thamel. But you can easily get a car there for walk if you want, which we did a few times. My toddler and I spent a month there and we had such a wonderful stay. We feel like we have a family in Kathmandu that we want to come visit. Loved the spaciousness of the space and the view from the roof is beautiful. The WiFi was soooo good honestly probably the best we had in all the places we traveled in Asia. It’s super duper clean and you can tell they keep it that way always. We just had such a great month and are so appreciative of this beautiful family and can’t wait to come back again! Thank you so much!!

We loved our stay here. With absolutely everything you need, we felt right at home. Location was great, the street was quiet and the space was lovely. Anil was so helpful with all our questions. Highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay at Tamel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They helped and answered all of our questions about the adapter and buying vegetables. The power was gone for a bit, but they tried to fix it immediately. Very nice team!

The apartment is very spacious and well-equiped. Hosts were communicating nicely too. About 10-15min walk from the famous Thamel area. It definitely felt homely and very good value for money.

brilliant stay here. the apartment is beautiful and filled with thoughtful touches. there's a huge living space where you can relax, perfect for recovering after a trek. Anup is super communicative and friendly, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!
