The Yellow Cottage is a tiny house, just under 200 sq ft, with bath, (shower, no tub) and kitchenette (microwave, small fridge, no stove,) in very private setting and is ideal for a solo traveler. The sitting room has 2 twin beds, (Day bed - trundle style,) and the mattresses are standard size- not XL. The trundle will roll out and pop up to accommodate a second guest. Porch, with rockers, offer a sanctuary from hectic pace. Cottage is reminiscent of simpler times; Cozy, and comfortable!
“Jan and Charlie were amazing hosts! The Yellow Cottage is small but very cute and has everything you could need for a short stay, and is in a good location. The directions to get into the cottage were very clear and Jan had some fresh made banana bread waiting for me. The cottage is behind the main house so I saw Jan a few times as I was coming and going and we were able to chat, but nothing was intrusive. It really is a delightful stay and I highly recommend it.”
Located in the Historic Fondren District, my place is just steps from fabulous restaurants, wine bars, coffee shops, shopping, music venues (Duling Hall), and grocery stores. It is also very close to University of Mississippi Medical Center, Baptist Hospital, and Belhaven University. Enjoy private/off street parking in the bustling downtown Fondren District.
“Rachel’s place was great! A perfect space with everything that one will need. The area is quiet and there is a nice little BBQ restaurant right across the street. You will be extremely pleased with your stay.”
Enjoy a cozy stay in the heart of the Historic Belhaven Neighborhood! A fully furnished studio apartment with a kitchenette, bathroom, and loft! Only minutes from University Medical Center, Downtown Jackson, and the famous Fondren area. We love to host guests from all over -- of any background! There will always be fresh treats and waters left for you and feel free to ask if you need anything during your stay! We love giving recommendations of our favorite local attractions and restaurants!
“Anna and William's place was perfect! Very affordable, clean, and easy to find. If you luck out and stay here when it is raining, it's especially great because of the soft sounds of rain on the roof that put you to sleep. If we come back to Jackson, we'll certainly try to stay at Anna and William's place again.”
