FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Due to the use of mainly local, recycled and natural materials, there are many unique details to discover. Outside there is a terrace as well as a hammock where you can relax and there are friendly lambs to pet!

The forge at Humletorp Farm

Smedjan is a beautiful, private house for two, originally the smithy of the farm. Look out across the lake when taking breakfast, whether looking through a green field at blue water, or across a white landscape to a frozen wonderland. Smedjan has enough plates, cutlery; pots and pans, for 2 people. Tea and coffee, coffee machine and kettle are also available. If you are coming with your family, please check out our other houses on the property; Vistet, Lidret, & Loftet.

Fjäll

Charming and cozy country house, where you can live all year round. An idyllic place where you can relax, close to forest, lakes, nature reserves and fantastic chanterelle places. The house has a large porch and nice plot that extends around the house and into the Värmland forest. A short bike ride away you will find a grocery store, pizza place and gas station (about 3 km). If you want to experience the Värmland idyll and mysterious forests, you found the right place.

Efter en grusväg uppe på ett berg i hjärtat av finnskogen hittar ni lugnet i det här smultronstället med allt som behövs för en underbar semester.här bor man med tystnaden mitt i naturen, precis vid en sjö men med alla bekvämligheter man kan tänkas behöva. I närområdet finns flera sjöar och fina fiskevatten, möjligheten att plocka bär och svamp, vandra eller varför inte ta en tur upp till ”rännbergs toppen” (vandringsled upp till en närliggande bergstopp)
