Cottage with lovely garden in rural surroundings

This is a classic, bright red, small cottage with a lovely, splendid garden in the summer months. Inside, there is a combined living room and bedroom with a double bed, a newly equipped bathroom with shower and a small country kitchen with a fireplace. Adjacent to the house are pastures, fields and an old farm. At the junction, a popular bike path passes by and there are many nice rural walking paths to choose from. Two kilometers away is Sala Silver Mine and into the city center it is about five kilometers. Bicycles are available to borrow.

If you want to park your car, the train station is less than a 10-minute walk away. From there, you can get to Sala (9 minutes), Västerås (18 minutes), Uppsala (50 minutes) or Stockholm (95 minutes).

Our first guest used the cottage as a writing retreat for a documentary. The couple who came after wanted to visit the Swedish countryside and hoped to see bears (note: there are no bears here).
