Outside the house you have both the village corn rod and bus stop with direct buses to Dalhalla. Only a couple of hundred meters from the cottage you have a family friendly beach, steamboat harbor, walking path and you are next door to the bistro Apan.

It is located on the hillside down towards Lake Siljan with beautiful views. 5 minutes walk to the city center and swimming. Proximity to the bus that goes to Dalhalla. The stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are quite steep and are not suitable for children and people with bad knees. In other words, not a handicap-adapted accommodation. It is not possible to add hot water as a convenience, but it is available in both the bathroom and the kitchen.

The nearest swimming area is at Tällbergs Camping or at Laknäs Ångbåtsbrygga. In the nearby area, there are also several other well-known excursion destinations such as Dalhalla, Falu mine, Zorn farm, Vasaloppsmålet, Romme Alpin, Carl Larsson farm, Orsa Grönklitt, and more.

The possibility of a 6th bed is available if you put out a fold-up single bed.
