Welcome to the charming house by Dalälven! The house is suitable for those of you who want to enjoy the tranquility but still be close to town. The house is only 1200 meters from downtown Avesta which makes it easy to get to restaurants and shopping on foot or by bike. It is also walking distance to the Old Village, Avesta's oldest neighborhood. Here you can walk along the river on the nice boardwalk and see buildings from the 1630s. The accommodation is newly renovated in 2024 with new kitchen, bathroom and laundry room.

Älv-Hyddan

Welcome to this cozy nest at the Dalälven edge, 5 km outside Hedemora. Grill on the patio, sauna and take a swim from your own jetty. Indoors there is a modern kitchen, toilet with shower, fireplace, TV and wifi. The sauna is wood-fired and the plot bathes in the sun in the mornings, sun all the way into the afternoon down on the jetty. Firewood and canoe are on site for a fee. You like to glance out of the window, over a wild meadow leading to a lake? While having some buttered toast and your freshly brewed first coffee of the day? I guess you'll like it here. The little red house is about 90m away from of the Spannsjö, on which's shores my farm is the only real estate.Your little red house has everything you need, no matter the season: sleeping room with 4beds, living room, bathroom, fully functional kitchen and your own washing machine.Wifi is in the house.

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Lake cottage with all the amenities by the fishing lake.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunset is an extra plus. Please also refer to my guidebook that is in my profile. The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away. 2-4 kicks are available to borrow.

Härbre Hovran

Charming cottage with quiet and peaceful location right by Lake Hovran. Unwind in this simple little cottage, which has all the amenities you need such as electricity, running water, small kitchen, shower and toilet in a separate small house a few steps away from the cabin. Two bicycles are available to borrow to explore the nearby area, or a trip into Dalarna's oldest town, Hedemora, five kilometers away. There is a rowboat to borrow.
