“Great location, lots of nice walks that you can start from the accommodation. The food at the white eagle pub was delicious and only a 10 min walk away. The accommodation was just as the photos, lots of personal touches and good use of the space. Perfect for a long weekend away. Thank you for a lovely stay”
Situated over the fields looking west towards Llyn Maelog, Owain’s Lake view is in a peaceful location. It occupies the entire separate wing of a substantial property, this sizable apartment is laid out on a single level with a separate entrance, secluded private parking, and enclosed decking and patio. Access is with ease via a lovely decked ramp (1:20 gradient to 1:12 x 1.5m wide) that flows into an open plan sitting room/kitchen area. Decorated and presented to a magnificent standard, this property has an air of luxury whilst laid out practically with oodles of space. Everything is to hand whether you’re managing from your wheelchair, assisting or able. The fully fitted kitchen is at normal height (90cm) but the butcher's block island is lowered for comfortable use at wheelchair level (73cm). The kitchen tap is a single lever and has a hose extender to reach to a comfortable user position, and with the hob close by a knee space created under the worktop allows closer positioning to the appliances. The bedroom hosts a super-king split electric bed with two 3’ memory foam mattress. Dividing sliding doors provide an extra bedroom/sofabed for one. The door into the main bedroom is wheelchair friendly and the turning space by the bed is 2.2m square. The far side of the bed is not accessible by wheelchair if the folding doors are closed across but not a problem with reduced mobility. “So warm and extremely comfortable with amazing water views. We were pleased to see a good sized bathroom with open shower for any disabled persons and a good sized bedroom with a very comfortable adjustable super king bed. This cottage has been carefully designed for the disabled with everything one would need and within easy reach. Location is in a quiet village of Llanfaelog with parking outside and a ramp to the front door. Still central to the village of Rhosneigr and Holy Island supermarkets within easy driving distance. Lisa and Jamie were very quick to respond to any queries, even offering us to stay another week due to the Coronavirus. We also appreciated Lisa changing the linen and towels midway through our two week visit. Thank you for letting us stay. A wonderful fortnight exploring Anglesey.”

“On the very night that storm Dennis ravaged the area Jills Mongolian yurt stood up to all he gave. And we inside were cozy, warm and loving the extra touches that come with the yurt. I am, a self proclaimed Airbnb snob. I find a place, google it, look at the reviews and then take a while to deliberate whether it’s worth a shot. I wasn’t sure about the yurt but the reviews were excellent and so thought we’d give it a punt. Jill was on point answering messages and was able to quell my fears that the yurt was going to be tested badly by Dennis. In fact when we arrived my hair was perpendicular to my head and everything we ran to the yurt with got a drenching. After settling we weren’t looking forward to the bog-run, however given it was all of 5 strides away and immaculately kept it wasn’t an issue at all. The yurt itself has an aroma that although not unpleasant, does take a second to acclimatise to but the amazing log burning stove puts play to it but filling the room with the heady sent of embers. We didn’t expect much sleep given the storm but a good 10 hours was got due to the comfy bed and linen. We woke to a fridge full of goodies and beverages galore. Don’t hesitate, book the yurt, expect a view to die for, an epic sleep and hospitality beyond.”
