These two little (very old... think 1891) outhouses have been lovingly restored and renovated. Designed to create an intimate stay, the bedroom leads straight out to a private garden, under the shade of a big peach tree. The property's accessible swimming pool lies next to the house and is welcome to be used by guests. Intended to make you feel at home and yet preserve the age of these tiny houses, we have kept decor to a minimum, but aimed to cater for all the little needs.
“My husband and I had a wonderful time - Lara and her family are incredibly friendly and accommodating and we felt truly at home and welcome. The room is basic but has everything you need - complete with a fan, coffee, tea and homemade rusks. The pool gave us much needed respite from the Riebeek Kasteel heat and was the highlight of an all-round wonderful stay. Thank you to Lara and her family for being such wonderful hosts.”
New modern and private Guest Suite, with one king bed (or two single beds), aircon, new high quality linens, free WiFi and Netflix.

“The Potter's House is an amazing place. It is beautiful and Garth is a gracious host. Check-in was easy and the place was ideally situated close to the wedding venue where we had to be. He also made sure we would not be left completely in the dark due to loadshedding by leaving us parafin lamps and a torch. The place was clean and very neat. We really enjoyed our stay and Garth left us some prunes from his garden which were very tasty.”
