Family-friendly and quiet mountain cabin in scenic surroundings near Sjusjøen. Prepared cross-country trails are about 200 meters from the cabin, with access to continuous trail network towards Sjusjøen. Short distance to Sjusjøen ski center with alpine slopes provides good opportunities for alpine and snowboarding. In winter, the area is perfect for skiing with both cross country and alpine skiing. In the summer, the mountain offers great hiking and biking opportunities, swimming in Ljøsvatnet and fishing (fishing license). A perfect year-round place for active families.

Spacious and family-friendly cabin with fantastic opportunities for activities such as skiing, sledding and cycling right outside the door. Norway's largest cross-country ski network connected to Sjusjøen goes right past the cabin. Walking distance to swimming area, canoeing and fishing. 15 min drive to the alpine resort on Sjusjøen and 30 min to Lillehammer. Hygga Fjellkro 3 km away.

Cozy decor and well equipped with good beds, kitchen, bathroom and shower. To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer sleigh rides and ski instruction on cross-country skiing in the winter, please contact us if you are interested.

Atmospheric and spacious house in a quiet cul-de-sac, only an 8 to 10-minute walk from Lillehammer city centre and Maihaugen. The house has 5 bedrooms and is well suited for families, quiet groups of friends and smaller work groups, up to 8 guests. A large garden, two terraces, a barbecue, a fireplace, art, Persian carpets and Maihaugbekken give the house a special character. The bookshelves contain a large collection of books about Lillehammer's local history, and old pictures from the town hang on the walls. Parking for up to 3 cars.

Faråsen treetop farm! A unique experience in beautiful treetop cabins 10 meters above the ground. This treetop cabin is called Mjøsgløtt and has been named because of the amazing view. Here you can not only experience life in a tree top cabin, but you can also visit the nice animals we have on our farm. We also sell meat from the farm that can be delivered to the cabin and grilled at your private gapahuk by a cozy pond. Here the children can swim and use the rowboat. There are also nice hiking trails for walking, skiing and cycling.

The summer barn at Hovelsrud, Helgøya

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling cornfield – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside, there is a bedroom and an open-plan living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.

If you cross the road you come straight to a beautiful park area by the lake, Næra. Here you can fish, swim or realax and enjoy the sunset. We also offer our guests kayak and canoes to rent for free. In Næroset it is also great opportunities for outdoor hiking and cross country skiing in the winter. Only 20 minutes away is Sjusjøen

Free electric car charger (type2, 25A), fast internet, satellite dish with many channels (incl. free Viaplay), washing machine, fire pan, board games. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, coffee machine (must buy Dolce-Gusto capsules), kettle ++. The cabin is south-west facing with good sun conditions and great views. There are duvets and pillows in the cabin, but you must bring your own bedding and towels.
