Holiday rentals in Rio Frio

We loved staying here. The house was quiet and in a gated community. We had everything we needed - plenty of pillows, blankets, etc. Kitchen was well equipped, and there was enough space for each of us to have our own space away from each other. Slightly further out from town, but that’s what we wanted. We chose this place because it seemed to have some typical Costa Rican charm! Would recommend!

I would definitely go back to Russell's place, it's even nicer than you see in photos, the beach isn't as crowded and some of the nicest sunsets I've ever seen, the house comes with everything you need to enjoy. Russell is always attentive to any questions or needs you may have. The accommodation is 1.40 hours from Managua, access is very good.

This place was great! So much room for a family. Location is a little far from town, but an easy walk via beach with older kids. However, would be a long walk for young kids — not many restaurants in the area. Host was super responsive. WiFi was solid. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything you’d need. Hot water and Ac was enjoyable for our stay.

Clean and spacious Airbnb, close to the Liberia airport. We enjoyed the walkability - it was a short walk to the beach and to downtown Coco. Only spent one night here but would stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our time here exploring the local area. The kitchen was well equipped-and with the pool being steps from your patio door- there was no need to leave the gated community some days! We found we did not need a golf cart for our week long stay- the beach was only about a ten minute walk along the main streets with lots of shops and restaurants. Highly recommend the catamaran tour with marlin’s tours (I think is the name)- we had a great day on the water!! Overall we loved our stay at Mary’s place the weather was great and the accommodation were very relaxing with the pools in the gated community being quiet and not over crowded We really appreciate the hosts accommodating an early check in- we were super grateful for this after a long overnight flight!

Alex was very helpful and prompt. Our reservation through a different platform for a different place fell through, but Alex's place was easy to find, very easy to confirm and get into and close to the beach and many restaurants. It was clean and efficiently furnished without a lot of clutter. The internet was not working during out stay and Alex was quick to respond and try to trouble shoot. The outage was not his fault, and he responded very quickly which was greatly appreciated.

This place has everything you need! Spices, beach chairs and towels! Well stocked for a great stay. However there is construction going on next door that we were unaware about. Otherwise this place was great!

It was the best place to stay near Puerto Viejo! The pool was amazing. Jenny and her family were very kind. Thank you for making our stay more than perfect.

Jay and Claudia treated me like family and brought me around town, took me to the beaches and introduced me to friends. Felt right at home.
