Where to start in an attempt to describe paradise. All that's being said by others about Alto Bonito and Martin and the loveliest animals is true. I've never experienced such a great and generous host, lovely energy, total comfort and miraculous views. All in Alto Bonito is exactly how it should be, with all the love and attention that's being put in it by constructing it, maintaining it and living it. In the cabin you can experience total privacy, cozyness (which seems rare in Colombia), maximum comfort, stunning views and complete silence. You can enjoy it with others or alone, as I did. And within the borders of the finca itself you can hike and enjoy the nature and views. Martin and the dogs are enthusiastic to show you the way. It's easy to feel at home and difficult to leave again once you're being welcomed in Alto Bonito.

Nuestra estancia en Finca Margus fue fantástica. El precio es muy justo para la calidad ofrecida. La cabaña es impecable: limpia, en perfectas condiciones y con cada detalle muy bien pensado. El transporte de llegada y salida en el UTV Yamaha RMAX 1000 (incluido en la tarifa) añade un toque de aventura único y emocionante. Pero lo mejor, sin duda, es la atención de Martha y su familia. Su calidez y hospitalidad hacen la experiencia realmente especial y te invitan a volver. Una combinación perfecta de confort, detalles cuidados, aventura y un trato inmejorable. Totalmente recomendado y una opción para repetir.

Lovely home in a very serene and beautiful location. My family and I felt such at peace. It is surrounded by infinite nature. David and Andrea were excellent hosts. David is one of the warmest and kindest people you will ever have the opportunity to meet. He was always available to help us with anything we might have needed. Having breakfast by Andrea is a must! The coffee tour is very personable and enjoyable! Maria José and David were extremely responsive and described their place perfectly. My only suggestion is to stay more than a couple of days! Highly recommend this beautiful home!! Would absolutely love to be back. Thank you!!

Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Jardin! excellent location to town but also quiet and with amazing views. Daniel was a responsive, friendly and fantastic host. room was clean and very comfortable - as well as having coffee they also had washer and dryer.

Waking up to a bird symphony was a dream! It ended up being a quicker stay than I intended but I will definitely be back! Also the bathroom smelled so lovely so that was a nice surprise as well. And can’t beat welcome beverages after a long day of travel. Really appreciate Sebastian being so responsive during the whole process.

Loved the home and the location. Rosario, the housekeeper was wonderful and communication was great even while the owners were dealing with some health issue. My only complaint is the lack of a washing machine for those of us who like to stay a few weeks or more. I know laundry service is available through Rosario but timing can be an issue. Thank you for another wonderful stay and we’ll see you next year.

Jorge is a wonderful host! He is extremely proactive and very responsive! He is really helpful and puts in a lot of attention to his guest! The area is stunning! It has amazing views and great bird watching! It is peaceful and surrounded by nature. The cabin is lovely and new! Has nice seating areas outside and a huge hammock area. It is a perfect distance from town and very relaxing. I highly recommend staying here. It is wonderful and extremely peaceful. Jorge and is family are lovely and very helpful. He was very helpful to me and checked in to made sure everything was great! Thank you for all your help, you treated me like family! I look forward to returning to stay in your cabaña and hike more around the area!
