Be a country person for the weekend, stay in a 200 year old stable block, super light, with vaulted ceilings. A large sitting room, big bedroom, up a step to the kitchen/diner and bathroom. The newly fitted kitchen has sink, microwave, hob, and fridge/freezer. Also a sofabed. National Trust houses, historic Mayfield, village walks and the South Downs nearby. Small dogs welcome. The dining area does not have a kitchen but does include a fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave, cutlery, crockery and seating. Upstairs you will find the William Penn Suite, a very large room with a sofa area and king sized four poster bed with en suite. Named after the founder of Pennsylvania who once lived here, It’s located in our 16th century country house, which is a 20 minute walk from the Beach.

Enjoy this cosy but spacious room, it has its own entrance with a south facing patio and garden. An ensuite shower room and super king size bed. The room has lovely views,and private garden over looking a tree lined paddock, full of wildlife. Enjoy an early morning cuppa whilst relaxing in the super king size bed, or a evening glass of wine on the patio, and you may even see an owl swooping and foraging for food. There is a great pub only a short 5 minute walk away.
