Holiday rentals with breakfast in Rivière du Rempart District

The view from the private balcony was MY BEST! The birds, Sea, palm trees and Pool. I swam daily in the pool basically had it to myself! There is a bus stop outside the front gate easy access to all of Mauritius. Fabulous restaurants in Trou Aux Biches. If you are looking for upmarket pristine modern accommodation this is not for you, if you are looking for a peaceful safe independent friendly place to stay then I highly recommend it. There are 2 cats they are adorable and love affection! Dee was more than welcoming and helped me with anything I needed. My message is don’t sweat the small stuff, no aircon remote yet it’s the coldest aircon I’ve ever encountered, light switch not there however there is a bedside light, water in shower not hot however it’s powerful and amazing. The kitchen has all the gadgets for coffee, toasties, stove oven etc. I’ve had an amazing get away, it’s my 29th time Visiting Mauritius and I’ll be back! A lady was there deep spring cleaning as I was leaving

Try and you"ll feel like at home. Positive atmosfere, quite close to the sites Botanical garden, Sugar factory musem, view to the close hills., nice little terrace in green plants where to relax. Thank you again for yor hospitality of great hosting family.

We stayed one night. There were three of us. The car was safe and comfortable. No complaints. Contact with Yash and his welcome was perfect.

Mirella and her family are most friendly and helpful. The Appartement is clean and tidy and has a walk-in closet wäre also the suitcases can be stored. AC was working silently and effective. Parking Space was Kindle Pferd in the yard- but we found enough space outside. We can fully recommend booking with Mirella!

lovely apartment with access to swimming pool. There was a fridge and toaster, which I stocked with bread for toast and sandwiches which was important, because there are no shops or restaurants for some distance. The setting was perfect for me to read on the balcony at night or sit by the pool and do a few excercises. I miss it already.

Super nice host!!! The place was amazing. Big flatscreen smart TVs in each room with Wifi. Awesome couch to have an amazing Netflix evening. Bed super comfortable. Nice kitchen and bathroom. We felt like home! 100 % recommandable 😊

Excellent host family. Made us feel very welcomed and at home. Provided an amazing breakfast. Provided great advice for things to do and see in the surrounding area. The house and room were beautiful and very relaxing.

Nicole's place is lovely and you feel like you are in the trees and it has amazing views. The apartment has everything that is needed and I would very much recommend.

Exceptionally location within a 3-minute walk from the bus station and the metro but also restaurants and the bazaar. Clean and large apartment. Quiet place. I would highly recommend it. Feeroza in addition remains very available and is nice.

Our stay with Neo and Delphine's apartment was great. The flat was spacious and had a big terrace with a hammock. We also had a supply of fresh fruit from the garden and some food like jam and coffee. There are 2 fun dogs and a cat that our kids played with (or chased in case of the cat as it was pretty quick to run:)) and I got a yoga lesson from our host. The apartment is in walking distance to the beautiful sandy beach! Perhaps the only downside was that the flat is close to a busyier street and if you are a light sleeper like me it can influence your sleep. Other than that all was perfect!

Bernadette's apartment is very clean, in a quiet building. The terrace is nice. Bernadette is responsive and very friendly. You quickly feel like family. Great value for money. I recommend it without so much as a second thought.

Perfect stay in paradise – highly recommended! We spent three unforgettable weeks in this fantastic accommodation in Mauritius and were completely delighted. The rooms were spacious, clean and stylishly decorated, with a stunning ocean view. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with any questions or requests. The service was top notably due to Jerry and Preety. The location of the property was ideal – steps away from the beach and at the same time quiet and relaxed. There were a variety of leisure activities, whether snorkeling, diving, hiking or just enjoying the fantastic nature. The nearby restaurants in resorts and local markets were also a highlight. A rental car is a must. Overall, this was one of the best vacations we've ever had. We can recommend this place to anyone looking for a slice of paradise. We will definitely be back!

Perfect for singles or couples. Friendly and available host. Good position to get to the Bhakti Marga Sri Ranganath Mandir in Rosehill, 4 minutes by car and about 15 on foot.

At the top, after a second stay Under the Badamier, we can only recommend this hotel! A attentive, welcoming team, full of good places to visit! The room is clean and cleaned every day! The hearty and varied breakfast!

The accommodation in the Dodolalodge was very nice and corresponds to the description and the photos. Christian is a great and friendly host who is always available with advice and support. Also a car rental was possible without any problems. The lodge is quietly located in a side street, to the beautiful beach and some restaurants it is a 5-10 minutes walk. There is also a supermarket nearby.

Ashok and his wife were really nice to stay up until 1 AM as my taxi was very late. They were very kind upon my arrival. The house is beautiful and very clean. The location is great. The breakfast was delicious. I wish I could stay in Mauritius longer, thank you guys!

Yannick and her husband welcomed us in the best possible way. Their house is fantastic and our tree house in their garden was very cosy. We felt like at home, they were lovely with us. breakfast was delicious. I strongly reccomend to stay at their place. you will live an unforgettable experience!

Extremely idyllic and quiet accommodation in a beautiful garden. We felt very comfortable! The host is very attentive, eager and helpful. We would come back immediately, but we would like to point out that a rental car is definitely necessary to explore the surrounding area.

My other planned stays in Mauritius were at large resorts and I was apprehensive that I may not be comfortable or engaged at this cozy spot. However, deciding to stay at The Good Life was a fantastic decision and led to some of the most memorable experiences I had on my (solo) trip. Antoine and his wife were warm and welcoming; he provided me with numerous resources, information and assistance. Above and beyond. My sole minor complaint was the unavailability of air-con during the (hot, humid) days. I appreciate the effort to be eco-friendly, but if you intend to spend time in the room, this is something to consider. That said, both the breakfast area and bungalows are cheery, bright, modern and spotless. The pool and gardens are magical - an absolute oasis. There are numerous thoughtful touches in the design of the rooms, delicious, fresh meals, solicitous service (thank you, Cavita!) and whatever detergent they use smells INCREDIBLE. Great stay! Breakfast provided was very nice, always different and tasty. Hosts were very helpful with finding the place with our taxi driver. Great beach within 10 minutes walk at times we were the only people on the beach. Room was cosy and clean, bed comfy and AC brilliant. Every few days towels were changed which is great! The bathroom was big and shower great! Outdoor area was always clean. Pool was nice and clean but didn’t use. With your room you get a fridge which is great. We sat outside in the garden for a couple of nights, Parmeet put some music on and fairy lights which was awesome. Great place to stay!

nice place. we had some issues with the electricity in our room, but they fixed everything very quickly to a degree that was enough for us. very nice and helpful staff, I can also recommend the ayurvedic massage by Preety!
