Idyllic spot by Lake Tinnsjøen near Rjukan

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400, -

At 920 metres above sea level, you will have fantastic views of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings and very good sunlight from morning to evening. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming and cross-country skiing, in addition to mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage at Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk ski centre is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquillity, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

Welcome to our cozy family cabin at Gausta! The cabin is from 2022 and is our own little holiday gem that we rent out when we are not using it ourselves. Here you get a modern, space-efficient cabin spread over two floors. Detached cabin with good standard, heating cables in the floor, fireplace and patio. The apartment has an enclosed veranda with direct views of Gaustatoppen and Kvitåvatn. There is a private parking space in the parking garage under the apartment complex. Short distance to all amenities at Gaustablikk. There has been maintenance on the building this summer, but it is finished now. Cleaning can be ordered for NOK 500
