Enjoy this recently updated ranch with plenty of space on two floors. You will have a private escape downstairs with your own bedroom and full private bathroom. We are Sunnyside locals who have been living in Denver for the past seven years.
If you are a business traveler you will love this place, the only reason we can't get business traveler status is because we have a cat! How ridiculous, discriminating against our cat ;o) We would love to host some business travelers!!
Our house sits on one of the biggest lots you will find so close to downtown Denver, this means you can enjoy lounging on the large front porch and swinging in the hammock when the weather is nice. If you come in the spring you might even see some green grass ;o)
You have access to a private bedroom, private bathroom, and downstairs living space. Feel free to access guest space in the refrigerator and heat things up as needed in the kitchen.
Interaction with guests
We enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. At your pace, feel free to chat with us, tell us about your travels or ask us questions.
Sunnyside to the some, North Denver to others - our neighborhood is a spacious oasis only 1.5 miles from Coors Field and the most historic parts of downtown Denver. It also offers extremely easy access to the mountains via I-70. If the traffic is good, its 1 hour to Loveland and 1.5 to Breckenridge.
CAR - Street parking is abundant; it is under 1 mile from both I-25 and I-70
BUS - Easily ride an RTD bus to or from downtown with multiple route options. Light rail access coming later in 2017, stay tuned.
UBER/LYFT - Service to the house, rides downtown ~$10, airport ~$35
CAR2GO - Available in our neighborhood.
WALK - We are only 1.5 miles to Lower Downtown, with a few great watering holes on the way. Get your exercise and enjoy the sunshine.
Other things to note
We have a long haired cat named Musette who will befriend you quickly, but she takes a hint if you need your space.
Before booking please understand that all short term rental hosts (like us) within the county of Denver must collect and remit a 10.75% lodger tax to Denver.
No smoking indoors. Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 6:30 AM on workdays. If you have any questions, need some flexibility with check-in or something like that, just ask!
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund, including service fees.
I (David) am a gardener, bee-keeper, cat-guardian and I thoroughly enjoy cooking. Erin, my loving wife, might challenge you to a pull-up competition if you aren't careful.
