A really nice and clean 2-bedrooms apartment in a top location in the heart of the old town with fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, beamer to watch movies on a big screen and of course free wifi!

The space

The name of the flat “Soleiada” was chosen because it means “exposure to the sun” for the inhabitant of Nice. Nice offers indeed more than 2900 sunshine hours! The apartment is so very bright and most importantly brand-new (entirely renovated at the beginning of 2013, repaint every year, new double glazing window in 2015)!!

The plus of the apartment Soleiada: the top location, the fully equipped kitchen, the washing machine, the beamer to watch movies on a big screen, the free wifi and a welcome gift to begin perfectly your holidays (a bottle of Wine, soda drinks, cookies, coffee, tee...)!

The location:
This cosy and very clean apartment is located just nearby the Cours Saleya (flowers market) and two minutes closed from the beach and the famous Promenade des Anglais (walkway along the coast). You are very close to all shops (small supermarkets, bakery, clothing stores) and are surrounded with the best restaurants in town (you will find a map in the flat with all these informations)!
To explore the surrounding area, nothing is more easier, the tram and bus stops are only a two minutes walk from the apartment.

The apartment:

Soleiada can welcome up to four people (possibility to rent the studio flat on the same floor): big bed in the room and sofa-bed for two persons with a real mattress (+a baby cot). The bed linens are provided. To tidy up your effects, you have a big wardrobe in the bedroom and a storage unit in the living room. You have two tower fans, one in the bedroom and one in the living room for the hot summer days!
There is also free wifi.

The kitchen is fully equipped with brand-new home appliance: you have a dishwasher, a coffee machine, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, 4 hotplates, a toaster and all tableware... So, lets cook!

The bathroom is new and you also have a washing machine (+ hairdryer, flatiron...). The towels are provided.
Come enjoy the wonderful sun of Nice soon! And for the potential raining day, don´t worry, you can watch a movie on a big screen thanks to the new beamer (several movies available)!

Soleiada is located in a little street on the 3rd floor (no lift)

The neighbourhood

You will find in the apartment a personalized map with the best restaurants in the area and all the shops you may need (bakery, pharmacy, supermarkets, post office...). You will also find some activities prospects and several travel guides of Nice and the region.

Getting around

The tram and bus stops are just 2 minutes from the apartment away.

From the airport - 30 minutes: Bus 98 Direction Place Blanqui/Riquier, stop Cathédrale - Vieille Ville
From the main station sncf - 15 minutes: Bus 4 Direction Hopital Pasteur/Las Planas, stop Victor Hugo then Tram 1 Direction Las Planas/Pont Michel, stop Opéra-Vieille Ville
With the car: car park Corvésy or Saleya (arround 100 € a week)

Other things to note

The airbnb street view is not really accurate. The apartment is located in a small and quiet street in the pedestrian area (3rd floor).

The Tenants shall maintain the premises in a good, clean, and ready to rent condition, and use the premises only in a careful and lawful manner. It is forbidden and dangerous to sit on the white storage unit in the living room. The tenants shall leave the premises in a good condition at the expiration of the rental agreement, defined by the Landlord. Tenants shall pay for maintenance and repairs should the premises be left in a lesser condition. The tenants agree that the Landlord shall deduct costs of said services from the security deposit prior to refund if tenants cause damage to the premises or its furnishings.

The Tenants shall dispose of all waste material generated during the rental period in a lawful manner and put the trash in the bins, at the beginning of the Rue de l’Ancien Sénat, during their stay for pickup.

No animals or pets of any kind will be brought onto the premises.

The Tenants shall not sublet the property.

The Tenants shall behave in a civilized manner and shall be good neighbors respecting the rights of the surrounding property owners. The Tenants shall not create noise or disturbances likely to disturb or annoy the surrounding property owners. Creating a disturbance of the above nature shall be grounds for immediate termination of this agreement and Tenants shall then immediately vacate the premises.

There shall be no smoking inside the premises.

Landlord shall provide towels, bed linens, cups, knives, forks, spoons, dishes, and other items as commonly used by the Landlord’s family. Toilet paper, soap, dish detergent, laundry soap, shampoos, and other consumables are to be purchased by the Tennant. No reimbursement will be made for unused consumables left at the premises. If consumables exist at the premises when the Tenant arrives the Tenant is free to use them.

The Tenants and Tenants' Guests shall hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Landlord against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from use of the premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss. Tenants expressly recognize that any insurance for property damage or loss which the Landlord may maintain on the property does not cover the personal property of Tenants, and that Tenants should purchase their own insurance for Tenants and Guests if such coverage is desired.

In the event of withdrawal/cancellation:
The rules from the Website where the reservation was made, will be followed.

Tenants expressly acknowledge and agree that this Agreement is for transient occupancy of the Property, and that Tenants do not intend to make the property a residence or household.

There shall be no refunds of rents due to shortened stays or ruined expectations because of weather conditions.

There shall be no refunds of rents because of shortened stays or ruined expectations due to work and family emergencies or other commitments.

Tenant agrees that Fireworks and other hazardous materials shall not be used in or around the property.

Tenants shall use the property for legal purposes only and other use, such as but not limited to, illegal drug use, abuse of any person, harboring fugitives, etc. shall cause termination of this agreement with no refund of rents or deposits.

We rented this apartment at the last minute and Aurelia responded immediately and coordinated our arrival. Everything was ready when we arrived and she even left tea, wine and a few soft drinks in the refrigerator - very welcoming. The apartment was beautiful, clean and had lots of light. I wish I lived in this apartment, gorgeous!

Our stay in Niece was amazing! The apartment is right in Vielle Ville which is the old city. It's so close to the market, the beach, the accessible to everything. We spent a week and wish we had longer. Auriele was the perfect host; we had a clean apartment and had no problems navigating around (with the map provided by Auriele herself which pointed out all the go-to places like the supermarket and pharmacies). Make sure to stay here - you truly will not regret it. I hope one day we can come back!

Aurelia was not able to meet us in apartments, but her friend showed everything and explained all items. Perfect location. Very close to nice streets, parks and beach for sure. Apartment is equipped by all necessary items. Perfect for short or long stay.

If you,re looking to stay in a small apartment in the Old Town area of Nice, you,d be mad to look anywhere else. ! This is a well equipped apartment in a quiet area of the Old Town, but within a minute of the the bustling narrow commercial streets. The apartment has everything you need and is well renovated. Aurelia,s communications are really good, and her directions to find the apartment from the airport and station, and back again, are excellent. There is loads of information the apartment to get the best out of your stay.

Me and my brother really enjoyed our stay at the Aurélia's place in Nice. The location is perfect. It was only a few meters down to one of the main streets of the old city and a few minutes to the market or the seaside. The kitchen is very completely equiped with an oven, dishwasher, senseo and water cooker and all the stuff you need to cook or bake. It has a very nice old feel with the windows on the outside but is has a modern bathroom. Communication with Aurélia went very smooth and inside she has a map with a lot of recommendations and explanation how to get back to the airport.
