If you are looking for a something delightful and out of the ordinary for a stay on the North Shore then this is it.
Annette and I had a lovely experienced in Sylvan and Adams luxury camping facility. Sylvan welcomed us on arrival. She was delightful. She showed us around and gave us lots of information about Haleiwa and the North Shore. The two tents are in a lovely garden setting at the rear of their long block. There are a few neighbouring houses but they are out of sight on large properties and we felt quite secluded. It is very private and peaceful.
Two fat chooks a turkey and several peacocks kept us company over breakfast each morning. Opening the security gate on the main road and driving towards the foot of the mountains to get to "home" was exciting every time we returned from town or beach.
A very memorable highlight of our travels around Oahu.
So great. We loved the Eco tent. The fresh Hawaiian flowers were beautiful.
What a truly fantastic experience. Adam and Silvan were superb hosts and gave us great recommendations for the North Shore in terms of both food and activities. A really unforgettable experience that my girlfriend and I will treasure for a long time.
We had a fantastic stay at the hideaway. Silvan was very easy to get ahold of and communication before and during our stay was excellent. The property is simply beautiful, nestled amongst fruit trees and tropical plants. We loved being greeted by a pair chickens every morning and being able to just sit out and watch peacocks walk by. Access to the North Shore towns is very easy and quick, but you still feel removed from it all. Plan for early mornings because you'll basically be up with the birds, but if you've ever camped you should be used to this. Highly recommended!
Our stay here was so wonderful! The space was perfect for us. We were welcomed by Silvan with fresh fruit and many suggestions for the best beaches and things to do close by. She even came out to help us get rid of a very large, scary but harmless spider. We loved our new friends, the chickens and peacocks who greeted us every morning!
I personally appreciated being able to stay in a tent that was complete with a real bathroom.
This is a true eco experience with a great facility to enjoy the surroundings. I really enjoyed the comfortable bed, the kitchen and the very functional bathroom. The peacocks running across the yard were very entertaining! There is all kinds of flowers and fruit trees.
Silvan is a great host, meeting us when we arrived and giving us the run down.
This is a true relaxing experience. No internet, no TV, but we had clean water, warm shower, and a great kitchen. We really enjoyed sitting back, reading, and enjoying the surroundings.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Silvan's during our trip to Hawaii. This eco-friendly place was well-kept and is very close to the North shore which has loads of gorgeous beaches. It was very quiet and off the grid and we woke up to the sound of peacocks and birds which was an amazing experience. They had very clean snorkeling gears and surfing boards. Silvan was very friendly, she also helped us fit the surfing boards to our car. I would definitely recommend this place. Thanks Silvan for hosting us :)
