Rise with the tide at this unforgettable Columbia River hideaway. You’ll be surrounded by a gently flowing waterway with up close views of otters, eagles, herons and other sea birds. Enjoy leisurely walks or bring your bikes for some exciting island adventures. Fish from the deck or better yet, bring your own boat to motor yourself to the glorious Columbia River for fishing or water skiing. Don't forget to visit historic Cathlamet with its charming restaurants, local events and museum.

The space
The water is what makes a stay at this Floathouse an unforgettable experience. You will leave your stay refreshed and relaxed as there is nothing like it. This river island get away is a floating home that rises and lowers with the tides of the Columbia River. It has graveled parking for 4+ vehicles and plenty of room for a boat trailer. The floating home is located down a few steps and long ramp that could be steep when the tide is out. Bring your own water craft and tie up to your own private dock from which you may swim, kayak, jump onto your SUP's. Launch your boat at the Public Boat Launch and motor it around to the house for easy water sport and fishing access. There is a boat garage that can accommodate vessels up to 21’ 4” in length. For larger vessels there is plenty of tie ups on the docks. Enjoy your meals immersed in nature with large bright windows or on the deck as weather permits. There is a smart TV and gas stove for those cozy stormy nights.

Guest access
This is a private rental and all floating docks are accessible. There is no shared access or docks with neighbors. It is very private.
