This place was awesome, I stay for 3 nights and everything was as he described it. Very clean and hotel staff were so kind and helpfull. Facilities are very close to the ski resort and they have shuttle bus to get you to and from the ski resort and train station. Toshi responds fast and has very good english skills.

We were very comfortable and found Toshi's place to be very roomy, clean and warm. The staff at Appi were very accommodating and were happy to pick us up from the resort centre whenever we had the staff to phone up. The food was delicious at all of the restaurants. However as a young family, it would have been better for us to have more food options in the shop. The shops at each building are mostly for souvenirs and snacks, with some hot noodle cups for sale and local products like milk and cheese. It would have been great to buy fresh fruit and even yogurt as well as the biscuits and ice cream. We were concerned that the room is a smoking room, however we could not detect a smell at all! The hot bath in the hotel basement is a must, and we found the pool in the resort centre to be a great way to relax and play on a day when the pistes were closed due to high winds. We think Appi will be even more fun in the winter season, when it will be possible to rent equipment and ski-in and out from the building. (We had to go to the resort centre to rent). It's very easy to use public transport to get here and it was a great adventure.

Good value. Cleaned daily or option to have just a quick clean which is good. Resort was great. No self catering or any food items of any real use in the convenience store ,so you mostly have to go to the restaurants which can become quite costly. Buses are great on weekends but far less frequent during the week but the walk to the lift area was fine for our kids. The onsen was good and the resort facilities good. Rentals for skis was easy but quite expensive so bring your own if you have any. Toshis apartment is good. He is easy to communicate with and prompt with replies. It could do with a variety of pillows as we are not used to the hard Japanese style! That may be your preference however. All in all a good place. Roomy, great outlook, handy on second floor, good table area and space for a family of 5 like us. We would recommend

Great serviced apartment with full use of ski resort facilities. Room serviced daily. Plenty of space to relax and many dining options at varying pricepoints. We stayed with a 2 yr and 3 yr old and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. From the snow to onsens through to craft and even swimming we experienced all the resort had to offer. Communication with Toshi was prompt and listing is accurate

I stayed here with 3 other people during the summer. It was very spacious and had sufficient accommodations for all of us. I enjoyed having the western-style beds along with the tatami room that included a kotatsu and futons for sleeping. The overall presentation of the room was nice and I could see it being a comfortable place to stay for a good amount of time. The only thing that was difficult for us was that the area was basically deserted during the summer. We had to reserve the hotel shuttle service any time we wanted to go to the station. And, at night, it was very difficult to find any food that was reasonably priced and not overly touristy. There was also very little to do from the afternoon to the evening. If you are going to stay here, I recommend that you come by car, so that you can come and go as you please. I think this place is ideal for winter or for some kind of retreat, but not reasonable if you aren't planning to stay in the mountains during your entire trip. However, the room itself was exceptionally clean and the amenities provided exceeded my expectations. There were yukata to wear, happi coats, floor pillows for the kotatsu, sterilized glasses, enough towels, and a refrigerator. Also, plenty of space to relax, whether that be the beds, the dining room table, on the floor cushions, or on the futons.
