Interaction with guests
I'm often around. Usually holed up in the office.
I love meeting people, yet want you to feel as independent as you like.
I'll tend to leave you to your affairs.
Other things to note
This place is quiet, about 8 minutes walk to the metro station or coffee houses and 15 minutes walk to Trader Joes. It takes me 20-30 minutes to walk to Old Town Pasadena. Or it's one stop on the metro.
One bus will take you straight to JPL.
I may be able to provide an off street spot. Otherwise, street parking is free, but you need to move the car every two hours after 9 am, or get a $3 daily permit.
Just clean up after yourself and be respectful of the neighbors. This place is for your enjoyment, not for parties. No smoking indoors or next to the building. We take off our shoes indoors, but it's not like it's a religion or anything...

I'm a bit of a mountain bike enthusiast. Also a swimmer. Occasional climber and river runner. I love cooking, the city, coffee and local craft food at reasonable prices. Also photography and meditation. Oh yes, and travel. Have spent seven years in Asia, and a couple on the east coast. Some day I will live in San Francisco... ;•)
