We spend 4 days in William's appartment. It is central in Chiang Mai (between old city and Night Bazar) so it's perfect to visit the city by walk. William has been friendly and gave us good advices and informations to spend a good time in Chiang Mai. I give just 4 stars because of nuisibles we found in the bathroom (cockroach, mites).

William's apartment was perfect for our first time stay in Chiang Mai. He had wonderful suggestions on places to eat and things to see. The apartment was in a great, safe location. It was walking distance to everything. I highly recommend staying at William's place! A word of advice, download William's address in Thai before asking a taxi to drive you there from the airport. Our airport taxi driver had a lot of problems finding Williams apartment.

William is a wonderful host, and his apartment is in the ideal location! Just minutes from old city, the river, and many markets, this apartment allowed us to be in the heart of Chiang Mai. Upon our arrival, William met us to let us in and provided us with a whole guide of his recommendations from restaurants and activities. He even offered to help with cooking lessons and a private car should our adventures take us outside of the city. The apartment itself was very comfortable, providing views of the city in multiple directions. I'd definitely recommend this apartment to others - and plan on staying here again should I be back in the area.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay at William’s condo in Chiangmai. The condo is perfectly located – about equidistant from the river (with the nightmarket and wholesale markets) and the old city. Though there are literally 3 hostels on nearly every street, William’s condo is on a quiet sidestreet (though flanked by major streets for easy access to everywhere), and is high enough up to feel far away from the bustle beneath. The condo has a beautiful view of the mountains, and condo security – not that security seems to be any real concern in Chiangmai – is impeccable. William was the ideal host. He picked me up at the airport for a fee smaller than I probably would have been charged by a taxi, and gave me a short tour of the city before taking me to the condo. His advice on all things was spot-on. He gave me a map of the city, and has created his own “Useful Information for Chiangmai” guide. It included directions to basic places (like the best place to change money), a wide variety of local dining establishments of every ethnicity and price range, a description of and directions to the many local markets, a list of museums, and a description of popular attractions outside the city. William was always immediately responsive to my queries, both before and during my stay. Check-in and -out was extraordinarily easy. Immediately across the street from the condo is a convenience store, outside which a group of expats (mostly Canadians) while away the better part of the day together chatting and often drinking beer. Spending an afternoon or evening with them is well worth your time – they are endlessly entertaining and a terrific source of information on the practicalities of getting by in Chinagmai. Chiangmai is a surprisingly small city where nearly everyone seems to know each other. There are day-trip adventures galore available, but don’t miss the opportunity to spend some time in the city getting to know the friendly locals and expats. I highly recommend William's place and will happily stay there again if I get a chance to return to Chiangmai.

William was a most helpful host, giving me great advice when I arrived in Chiang Mai. I followed most of it and had a wonderful time in this beautiful city. The tour company William advised me on was fantastic taking me to Doi Suthep and the spectacular twin pagodas and waterfalls of Doi Inthanon in the mountains. A bicycle trip around the old city is also a must, followed by a visit to Williams recommended massage place. There are some lovely views over the city from the apartment and it's nice and quiet, but in a perfect location to explore on foot. Situated between Thapae Gate and the Mae Ping river, you're not more than a short walk from the Night Bazaar, flower market and the old city. Cross the foot bridge and have dinner in one of the many restaurants lining the river while watching the sun set behind the mountains. I'd recommend the Old Place for a quiet comfortable atmosphere. The apartment made all of the practicalities easy, with a handy groceries store just outside. The air conditioning worked well, it was clean and comfortable with a nice shower. Laundry room downstairs in the building was handy for me too. Overall I found William and the apartment perfect for my week long visit. Highly recommended.

William was a great host. Super easy to communicate with, and gave us great tips for our visit in Chiang Mai. The location was incredible. Great Thai food on his street, close to all of the action, walkable to everything (old city, walking market, night bazaar, etc.). The check-in process was smooth, wifi was great. There is a little kitchen which we used to store some yogurt for breakfast and boil water for tea. William left us coffee and tea, which was so kind. The view from the apartment is unbeatable. We were here on New Years and got to go up to the roof of the condo to watch all of the Chinese lanterns and fireworks in the sky. It was breathtaking. The bed was a little hard and he was having some plumbing problems while we visited (very minor and not his fault). Overall, we loved it and would stay again.
