I would highly recommend staying at Crylos's humble abode. The apartment is very well presented and Crylos goes above and beyond all expectations as a host. Its location is pretty much close to all of Tokyo's attractions (most of which you can reach via foot or short subway ride). Japan is often a tricky place to navigate for foreigners, however, Crylos provides his guests with a wealth of local knowledge and support - as well as an greatly endearing space in which you can retreat to and relax in.

we loved the apartment so much that we canceled the rest of our japan itinerary and just stayed! perfect location in a quiet street, but accessible to all main areas. great place for a family - close to playgrounds and other fun kid stuff. our host went out of his way to help us settle in and enjoy tokyo. he even helped us out of a pickle when we left a knapsack in a taxi and needed to get it back (we did). we will be recommending this listing to any friends who go to tokyo! can't wait to go back.

Great apartment for Tokyo! Super quiet and restful. There's everything you need at the apartment. The area is super nice, full of great restaurants and close to a lot of nice areas for shopping. The communication with Crylos is really easy and nice. He even offers us a super nice gift. I would recommend it to everyone and would definitely come back!

What an amazing place. We had such a great time and Crylos is such an amazing host. We missed our connection in Doha and arrived a day later and he stayed up until 2 AM to wait for us to check in! The location is also amazing. Everything is in walking distance. We moved to the Azakuza Neighbourhood after our week in the apartment and went back to the neighbourhood every day from Azakuza because we missed and liked it so much! You won't regret staying here!

One thing we look for when we use Airbnb is accurate pictures and honesty from the host. Without a doubt Crylos met both these criteria. The pictures were spot on and Crylos was and is an exceptional host. We can't say enough good things about him. He met us at the apartment, gave us a tour and then left us to settle in. He was kind, generous and honest. When we had questions he responded quickly and was very helpful. It was such a pleasure to meet him. The place was clean, ready for us, organized and there were many thoughtful touches like clean slippers for use in the house... we were in Japan after all. There were numerous travel amenities in the bathroom in case you forgot anything and the kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, drinks in the fridge and other items. There were plenty of dishes for those that want to cook some of their own meals. The place was cozy and the perfect size for us. The beds are firm but completely comfortable. And, the overall apartment building is nice, clean and very quiet at night. The location can't be beat. It was easy to find (we chose to take an Uber from Haneda) and we found it to be central to everything we needed. The train stations are easy to get to if you choose to use them. Staying at his place puts you in the heart of Tokyo and allows you to easily immerse yourself in the fascinating and multifaceted culture of Japan. Grocery stores are in easy walking distance... both regular and organic for those that want one. There are more than enough really good restaurants for everyone's dietary needs. If you want more of a Western breakfast, Bill's in Tokyo Plaza Omotesando Harajuku is a must. If you are looking for a good local, sustainable, organic option for meals, Mr. Farmer has 3 locations in Tokyo. But, we highly recommend diving into the Japanese cuisine. We had many interesting and tasty meals throughout our stay. There is endless shopping nearby and one of our favorite things was the Nezu Museum and its Japanese garden just up the street from Crylos's place. If you want a place to relax after a busy day in Tokyo, Crylos's place is the perfect place to stay. For those that may be questioning the cost… compare it to what it would cost to stay in a hotel with the same amount of space and amenities. We found the price to be just right and worth every penny. We highly recommend staying and will absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much for your hospitality, kindness and help while in Tokyo. Cheers to you and we look forward to seeing you again!

Brilliant experience through and through, not to mention that Crylos's hospitality is second to none. Crylos was very - yet not excessively - communicative during the booking process, ahead of our arrival and during our stay on an as needed basis, which made our stay extremely easy and comfortable. His cozy, well appointed and quiet pad is located in one of the best neighborhoods of Tokyo, a stone throw away from many of the best restaurants the city has to offer, a quick walk to the trendy fashion district, the Blue Note jazz club for like minded music connoisseurs, etc., and the main public transport stations that will take you just about anywhere in Tokyo and beyond. So it goes without saying that I highly recommend his place.

I was on my way to Australia 14 years ago, a couple years out of University, I stopped in Osaka and to make a long story short, I am still here. The Japanese have an incredibly rich culture and till now I am still fascinated and think even after I master the language, I will continue living here.

I used to climb Mt. Fuji in the winter until I had a bad accident, luckily I survived and still an avid cyclist and swimmer, I swim about a 5 kms a week and on the weekend, I try to cycle up to 200 km, Japanese drivers are very mindful of cyclists.

I love interior design and places that have calm and warm spaces, if you have time, please check out my Instagram posts to see some examples.

I am a full time employee at a Bank and enjoy my job, since I am rarely at home, I thought I'd try hosting, I fell in love with it and think Airbnb, although disruptive to the hotel industry, is doing amazing things.

I welcome all races, religions, etc into my home, my aim is simply to facilitate your enjoyment here in Tokyo when you visit, I do believe everyone should visit Tokyo at least once in their lifetime.

Thank you for taking the time to view my Humble Abode pictures and reading my profile.

Best wishes in 2017 to all.
