South-facing, sunny town home features two bedrooms; each with a queen bed, (one with a set of bunk beds); and two bathrooms. A fully equipped kitchen and open living/dining room with cozy wood pellet stove makes it easy to relax after a day on the slopes or hiking. 2 bedrooms and bathrooms accommodates 2 couples and 2 children easily and comfortably. This is our getaway as well as yours, so we are continually upgrading and improving this Mammoth classic close to Eagle Lodge & the Village.

The space

Our two bedroom townhome is conveniently located between Eagle Lodge and the Village at Mammoth Lakes, with free bus service to Eagle, the Village, and transferring to Main Lodge, just 1/2 block away. The Mammoth Bike path runs just outside our complex, and there is great snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and snow play just a block away. World-class nordic skiing is available at Tamarack Lodge, minutes away on Lake Mary Road. Mammoth boasts great restaurants, bars, and shopping when you aren't on your skis, board, bike, or the trail.
Tyrolean Village is in a residential neighborhood without a lot of traffic, making it a quiet place to stay. Our neighbors are a mix of locals and weekend visitors. There is parking in front of the townhome for one vehicle, and another parking lot for an additional vehicle up on Lake Mary Road. Two parking permits are provided (please don't forget to leave them when you go!) There's a dumpster and recycling receptacle to the left of the building (as you are looking at the front door)
Our townhome is two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with one bathroom (with a tub shower) on the first floor and another bathroom with a shower upstairs. The main living area is upstairs - with a fully stocked kitchen, dining area, and comfortable, open living room. The home is carpeted throughout.
The house is south-facing and receives a lot of passive solar during a sunny day - we ask that you leave the front blinds open during the day to take advantage of that heat. We just installed a wood pellet stove, which keeps the unit very warm. The downstairs bedrooms have Thermador wall heaters with thermostats you may use to keep the rooms comfortable.
There is extra bedding in all the closets, and extra towels, washcloths, and hand towels in the bathrooms. There is also a stackable washer/dryer in the bunkbed room (suitable for small loads of laundry).
The kitchen is fully stocked with service for ten, plenty of glassware, flatware, and utensils. There is also a blender, mixer, crockpot, and toaster for your use. Dish soap, dishwasher soap, sponges, etc. are located under the sink.
Let us know if you can't find anything, have problems with the pellet stove, or have any other questions / concerns during your visit.

Guest access

You'll have access to the entire townhome, wifi internet, direct TV, a blueray/dvd player, AppleTV, etc.

Interaction with guests

We are in town and are available should you need us.

Other things to note

Please remember that only one vehicle is allowed to be parked in front of the townhome. Additional vehicle must be parked in lot on Lake Mary Road. Please use parking permits and remember to leave them when you go!
And absolutely no smoking in our home - thank you.

Our neighbors are a mix of locals (with jobs to show up to) and guests. Please do any hardcore partying in one of Mammoth's finest nightspots and reserve the townhouse for normal residential activities. You will have one of us knocking on the door if we hear complaints from our neighbors!
We'd also appreciate it if you'd leave your boots at the door - the carpet is thick and warm, just perfect for socks or slippers.

The condo was indeed a ski style condo. It was exactly what we needed to chase the snowstorm to the slopes of Mammoth. The condo is about a 10 minute ride (20 in the blizzard) from the mountain but served our purposes perfectly. Good size, great amenities.

Great place. Stayed here with 5 adults. Close to the mountain and plenty of room to sleep, eat, and relax after a long day of skiing.

Very nice place, right between Canyon and Eagle so got to easily see different sides of the mountain over a short weekend. Amazing time, amazing place, very clean!

The place is very comfortable! You feel like you are a guest in their home while they are away. And sunny, as advertised, which was great when we were snowed in! Vickie couldn't be better with communication. She made every effort to see that we were happy during our unexpected extended stay. It's only a short walk to the Yellow line, and we made use of it getting between both Eagle Lodge and the Village gondola. There's even a sled ramp at the top of Tyrol! We got to know the neighbors during plowing/shoveling after the storm, and it's a little community on that street. I would definitely recommend the place.

This place is in a great location. It is good for college students or mellenials, but anyone over 35 will not feel like they got there money's worth. It is really outdated, the beds are not comfortable and the windows are more for decoration than warmth. I would not stay here again, but if you want to pay for just location I guess that is what you get. this place needs a lot more love and upgrades.

Response from Vickie:
We're so sorry you weren't satisfied, Christian, especially since we have been continually updating this townhome since we purchased it. This year alone we replaced the very inefficient fireplace with a new wood pellet stove, installed a new range and microwave /hood, new windows and shower in the upstairs bath, new more efficient wall heaters in the downstairs bedrooms, and and new Hunter-Douglas insulated window coverings on the large sliding glass doors in the living room and bedroom. The mattresses are also brand new this year. We're happy with the improvements we've made and will continue to make, and appreciate our guests who are able to recognize the upgrades.
