Charming, cozy Falmouth home, convenient to Portland and Freeport, not far from Western ski slopes. 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, fully equipped kitchen, open living room, dining, and music area. Nicely maintained, perfect for couple or family.
House is an interestingly expanded Cape, with 2.5 car garage, and cathedral space with huge picture window at front. Downstairs has kitchen with granite-topped island and breakfast area, open concept living / dining / music area, and half bath with washer, dryer, and fold-away ironing board. Kitchen is fully-equipped, with electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee-maker, and a full range of pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. There is a flat-screen TV with cable, VHS and DVD, a stereo system, and a baby grand piano..
The entire house is available, with the exception of one upstairs room that we use for storage and will keep locked. One bay of the two car garage will be included for use. The house has a large deck in front, and a large yard surrounded by woods on most sides. We have a contract for driveway snowplowing with the same contractor who has provided excellent and timely serve i.e. over the past two seasons.
Interaction with guests
We will make sure that important and useful information is communicated before your stay and as you arrive. During your stay, my wife and I will be available by cell phone, and we will provide expert local "back-up." for emergencies and general assistance.
Other things to note
Garbage and recycling are collected once a week at the end of the drive. Instructions will be available when you arrive.
Our house is smoke-free, and we ask you to smoke only outside. Pets are not allowed. Guests will need to use their personal cell phones for telephone service,
Cancel up to 24 hours before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 24 hours of your trip and the first night is non-refundable.
