The space

Hi there,

I am Fiammetta, a tourist guide and “art-addicted”, I am proposing you a nice and quiet apartment in the heart of Florence. The apartment can host 3 people (a king-size bed for 2 people and a sofa-bed for other 2) and it is only 10-15 minutes walking distance from the main train station. Moreover you can reach the most important beauties of Florence by foot (a step far from the David)!

The apartment is fully-equipped: kitchen, 1 bathrooms, air conditioning, WiFii, a big TV and a washing machine.

The location is fantastic: really close the main monuments and in the area you could find shops, restaurants, supermarket and the market of San Lorenzo where you can find fresh vegetables and fruits, fish and Tuscan bread!

Even if you are in the historical centre, the street is very quiet and you can have, once at home, a beautiful rest.

I am living 500 meters far from the apartment and once you are in Florence I can help you for everything you need.
For further information, please feel free to send me a message.

Cheers,
Fiammetta

Great location less than 10mins walk from the train station and just a couple of mins walk from the fantastic Mercarto Centrale where you can buy wonderful produce or just stop by for breakfast. Fiammette was very attentive and kept in touch throughout our 3 night stay as well as giving us some great tips on arrival. The flat had everything we needed. We would recommend staying here.

Fiammetta was a great host and readily available to provide assistance. The apartment was in an excellent location, within walking distance to the station. Can't fault the apartment or the host. Highly recommend staying here! :)

Cozy clean quiet well equipped flat. Convenient location to churches, museums, parks, train station, bus stops, great restaurants, and central market and grocery stores. We loved our month's stay in Fiammetta and Pietro's flat.

This was a great place to stay in Florence - down a quiet street, but very convenient to popular sites, especially the Galleria della Accademia. It is about a 15 minute walk to the central train station. The apartment was comfortable and clean, up a couple of flights of stairs. Only problem was a lack of hot water in the shower, but we could live with that. We were met by Vivianne, who shared suggestions for places to eat, etc. She was very responsive to any request. For a change of pace in eating, please check out the restaurant Il Vegetariano, just around the corner, on Via delle Ruote. Very tasty, reasonably priced, great neighborhood vibe, friendly service, and delicious desserts!

Didn't get to meet Fiammetta but Viviana was really kind and welcoming, giving us advice on where to go and what to see in Florence. The apartment is just like the picture - 10 minutes away from the train station - but note that if you are lugging big luggage, I recommend taking a cab (not more than 10 euros), especially as the apartment is on the 2nd floor.

Unfortunately I did not have the pleasure of meeting Fiammetta and experiencing her hospitality. Her friend Viviana was nice and gave us some tips for exploring Florence. The apartment is basically as advertised. Only complaints are that the faucet in the kitchen is designed to fold over to allow the window to open, and it tends not to stay up, and the hot water fluctuates during a shower. Otherwise the location is good and the facilities are adequate.

My name is Fiammetta! I come from a little town in the countryside near Florence, but I live in Florence since 2000.
I studied Art History at the University of Florence. After my studies I went to Trento, to get a specialization in art history. In 2009 I came back to Florence and I became a turistic guide.
I love my job because I love art and I love to know people from other countries! So, it is perfect for me to be a guide, isn't?

My brother Pietro is helping me to manage the 2 houses that I have been renting since my little son needs a lot of time :)!
