Where you’ll be

Punta del Diablo, Departamento de Rocha, Uruguay

Just 300 km from Montevideo, we enter a different world, that of PUNTA DEL DIABLO.
A place full of mystique, fueled by its name and old stories of shipwrecks. It is still a village of fishermen and artisans who, living to the rhythm of the seasons and the tides, uphold contact with nature as a way of life. In summer, the boats go out to fish and sell their catch to tourists, under the flight of hundreds of seagulls.
Punta del Diablo is a journey to the sea. There are no cell phones, no computers, no bosses, no subjects.
There are no 4-star hotels, no two-star hotels, no one-star hotels. Only inns and rustic cabins that grow anarchically on the rocks, on the edge of the dunes that are going to die in the sea. This town became a seaside resort, influenced by the people who come back every year, letting themselves be enchanted by its beaches.
