Thomas, almost always unavailable, wasn't there when we came. We saw him just for few minutes and he never did anything when we needed him, neither when we found out MICES in the house! When we arrived we had to clean all the sheets and do the beds in our own, finding out that they were really dirty. The house is the same on the picture, but 30 years older: very dirty under the washing machine (a mix pasta and dust), the beds and chairs. There was mold everywhere! The electric cooker didn't shut down and so we had to shut down the electric panel. Otherwise, a bed was based on paper packages. When we saw the mices we had to close fast the baggages and ran away from the flat calling Thomas, waiting for him for 2 hours (he didn't came). It was a terrible experience and never happened in 10 times we used Airbnb!

The apartament is located in the beautiful Montmatre. The apartment is basically a loft with no divisions, except from the bathroom. Problem with the lights, they are all connected in series, so you switch one and all the lights turned on. The apartment in summer is very hot, you should buy an a/c. Contacting Thomas was very difficult, he was never accesible, I sent messages and he replied to me several days later or even weeks. I don't recommend this apartment, you probably should search for something else

We thouroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay in Paris as a traveling family of 4 adults. The lively neighborhood of Montorgueil was a great venue for my wife and I and 2 kids in early 20's. Step out the door of Thomas' flat and you are in the middle of Rue Montmartre, with many local dining options, easy access to Metro. As close as we were to the activity, the street noise was never really an issue. The flat provisions were quite basic, with some obvious details overlooked, like soap, shampoo, fresh linens and bedding for 4. Still, the venue and the experiences made up for those shortcomings. We never met Thomas, unfortunately, since he was on holiday. We dealt with his assistant Olga.

I stayed here with my two college aged daughters for four nights. The apartment location was ideal. We had a two hour delay in our train so our arrival was later than we planned and Thomas worked with us. Upon arrival there was very little instruction and a quick "contact me" if any problems. We did have a problem - a huge problem - running water is a necessity and twice the water just stopped. Both times I immediately contacted Thomas. The first time he responded within a half hour but seemed to not believe me. The water came back on about an hour later. Having consistently running water is not a luxury. We also had no hot water one evening. We waited two hours between showers and still had no hot water. I immediately contacted Thomas as this was looking like a pattern now with water issues. It was 24 hours before he responded this time. I can not say if Thomas looked into the problem as he never really told me. After the first time of no running water, we thought it was maybe some work being done. But it happened again the morning we were leaving and it was very frustrating to have the delay in our time when preparing to spend the next 18 hours traveling home. I checked with neighbors and the restaurant below and they all had running water. But this apartment had none - we could not brush our teeth, flush the toilet, or take a shower. Thomas replied that he would come at 11 to look - this was hours after we had to leave but fortunately the water came on before we left. Another thing that I found odd about this apartment was there was no top sheet on the bed - only a bottom sheet and a comforter. The pillows were very flat (and square) but we found the pillows to be that flat at many of our stays. There was no towel in the kitchen. Just an old sponge and some dish soap. And my daughter slept one night on the 3rd bed with the leopard blanket and she was miserable as it was so hard. The couch did fold down nicely and was comfortable. The main bed was ok. The first night the restaurant below was quite loud but we didn't mind that much. The shower (when it had water) was good but it is tricky getting in and out. The place was clean. The bathroom doesn't have much ventilation. I would not stay here again as I don't not want to haven't vacation time spent waiting for water to come back on. I stayed at 3 other airbnbs this trip and had no problems at any other places.

Pros: Great location. Short walk to public transit (RER B, metros) and close to a lot of shops (supermarket, bakeries, restaurants). It's close to the RER B line so it's very convenient to get from the CDG airport/train station. The neighborhood felt safe day and night. The place is exactly as shown as the photos. The flat is on the 1st floor so it's easy for us to walk up with our luggage. Cons: The place (or the neighborhood in general) is a bit old with a bit of smell in the house and on the street. It's not a big problem if we opened the windows. The flat is right above a restaurant and there are always some noise from the street. We had 5 people and we stayed for a few nights. There was a bit lack of toiletries. The place is a bit dim. It would be better with more lighting. Some of the furniture are old and there are some water marks on the wall. It could need a bit of renovation. Side note: Due to Internet/communication issues, we were late to check-in for 45min. By the time we got there, we finally connected with Thomas and he showed up in 10 min to welcome us. He's very nice and friendly.
