We met Adrien himself. He was adorable! The apartment was great for a couple and the neighborhood was full of markets, restaurants and tastes from all over the world, cafe bistros etc. The metro station was less than 10 minutes away but there're places such as Notre Dame and Musee du Louvre that you can go on foot!!!We had a great romantic trip of two and we enjoyed every second in Paris!Thank you Adrien! Adrien is a great host and responds quickly. The loft is spacious and in a lively neighborhood. Easy to get to different transit options and plenty of restaurants nearby. Fair warning that the loft is on the top floor and there is no elevator, which is common in Europe, but still important to note if you are traveling with a lot of luggage.

Great location up 102 stairs but after going up and down you have no guilt to have a sweet treat! All you need is in the apartment and there are great food stores and takeout very near. The apartment was very quiet

Adrien's flat is the perfect spot: centrally located in one of my favorite neighborhoods in all of France, the Montorgueil and Rue des Petits Carreaux, there is no lack of any convenience or thing to do here. You basically walk out into your pick of charming cafes, fruit markets, grocery shops, chocolatiers, florists, boutique shopping, spas, et al - all while maintaining the vintage allure of central Paris, rather than the modern and too chic bustle of Champs-Élysées. The proximity to any Parisian wonder is a nice - actually amazing - walk. I walked 10 - 15 minutes to Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, the Louvre, Tuileries many places. And you have a metro station only a few blocks away in every direction to take you any place you're not keen on walking to. Quick shout out to the Paris Metro system. So swish. The flat itself is everything you need. The kitchen was fully equipped for throwing together simple meals, the bed was super comfortable, and the shower was always hot with full pressure - so important. Bath towels were provided and toilet paper was stocked. Being there in the winter months when temperatures ranged from 1 to 10 degrees Celsius (34 - 50 F), it's valuable to mention that the space remained cozy and warm with a heater in both the living and bed rooms. I was never cold. Wifi was fast and I used it often to internet and play movies when battling jet lag late at night. One of my favorite things about the place - that it is on the top floor of a truly vintage building - can make it exclusive if you're not up to the stairs, which wind all the way up the five floors. There is no elevator. But, for me, the added daily exercise was welcome as I was missing my fitness routine at home for the week. It was also added allowance for partaking in all the Parisian fare on the ground :) But, take note if stairs are not your thing. Adrien was immediately responsive from the start. Even as he was on holiday while I was there, he replied quickly to my call at check in and had arranged for his lovely sister to hand me the keys and give me the tour. She lives nearby and availed herself to me during my stay if I needed anything. I didn't, as she gave a thorough explanation of the small details and I found everything else self explanatory. All around, a fantastic experience and a total recommend.
