The space
The apartment Allegra is located in a beautiful and historic building of Florence and preserves the details of the time. Most of the furnishings are original and typical Florentine historical.

Perfectly located in the heart of Florence, Allegra is a quiet apartment in the historical Borgo Ognissanti; the apartment is a typical old Florentine house, with beautiful wooden beams and terracotta floor and some antique pieces of furniture; a double bed will welcome you with its comfortable and soft mattress (you will love it!) in a very romantic room with a mini balcony and a nice view on the ancient "Oratorio dei Vanchetoni" (1602).
Air conditioning, TV and Wifi will help you to relax in moments of rest.

I'll be pleased to offer you my apartment, its comfort and friendly hospitality; it is not a Hotel, we are not hospitality professionals and we don't want to be. We only want to share this beautiful city with you: my house is a private apartment in a XVIII Century's building, with local people living in other apartments around you.
So You will be immersed in the day by day Florentine life with all its colors, activities, history and people, the beautiful Italian way of life.

NOTE: Second floor no lift!

All my guests will be welcomed in the apartment personally by me, Francesca or my husband, Guido. You will find a map of Florence, brochures and we will provide all information needed for a comfort ad unforgettable stay.

Towels and linen kit are included. Bed comes with quality linen and towels (one big shower towel, one face towel per person), soap and shampoo.

Other things to note
Incredible but true: the Great Artist from Renaissance Sandro Botticelli was born in that street!!

All is near: major tourist attractions, restaurants, wine bar, supermarket, a pharmacy, car rental.

Bus stop for THE MALL Outlet is 3 minutes away.

The Italian police requires that every guest is registered when arrived in town, so, when we meet, we'll have to ask you to take a picture of your passport/ID or the details of it.

Please note that the Apartment is SECOND FLOOR, NO ELEVATOR.

If you arrive by train:
The express trains from the main cities such as Venice, Bologna, Rome, Milan and Pisa arrive directly at the Santa Maria Novella train station, which is only 6 minutes walking from the apartment.

If you arrive by car:
we suggest a private garage which is located near the apartment, just one minute walk from our building: GARAGE INTERNATIONAL Via Palazzuolo 29. Cost is around €30 per 24 hours. The historic centre of Florence is a limited traffic zone area (ZTL area), therefore, special rules to enter or park in this area apply. The studio is located within the ZTL area so if you arrive by car we suggest to contact the Garage before.

If you arrive by plane:
The Florence airport Amerigo Vespucci, is located approximately 20 minutes by taxi or by bus from the city centre. The bus will drive you from there to the main train station and back. The cost of the taxi is approx €30.

The apartment is located a side street of Borgo Ognissanti one of the most characteristic in Florence. Borgo Ognissanti is a route , parallel to the Arno River and rich of artisan, boutiques, bakers, bars and restaurants.

The Borgo Ognissanti combines an ancient part of the city with a Florence that is more contemporary and innovative. The name of the zone come from one of the major attractions of this region for tourists, the Ognissanti Church (All Saints Church) located in the homonymous square Piazza Ognissanti, with the Baroque front, the church began to be built in 1251. It has frescoes by Ghirlandaio and Botticelli and admission is free!

Via Borgo Ognissanti starts from Piazza Goldoni, passes into Piazza Ognissanti and goes practically to Porta al Prato, one of the old entrances to Medieval Florence, when the city was still walled up. Walking through the street you can admire residential buildings and beautiful old buildings. Here there is the palace of Galleria Vichi with its extraordinary architecture. This is one of the most important Art Nouveau buildings in the city.

Via Borgo Ognissanti is 10minutes from train station and along the road are car rentals (Hertz, Avis and others), a police station "Carabinieri", a pharmacy, a little supermarket, a garage for those who need to park the car in center and many others nice shops. Nearby, on the Curtatone road, there is the Polimoda school's silk.
