Alberto is a most gracious, conscientious, and respectful host, willing to share his time in the morning and answer all questions and provide useful information. His home-made yogurt is out-of-this-world. I certainly appreciated the fine selection of cheeses he provided at breakfast. The traveler is also insured of his or her privacy. The elegant, impeccably clean apartment is in Monteverde, just one tram stop from the Trastevere train station. making it an ideal location for exploring the surrounding neighborhoods on foot, although the tram and bus lines are only a block or so away. It's even possible to walk into Rome as well. The bedroom is nice and light and airy with a balcony overlooking a green area. The bed itself is super comfortable and the whole complex is quiet---something you cannot always count on in a popular tourist area with lots of nightlife. I felt the area to be safe and had no qualms about returning on foot in the evening. The private bathroom is just a few steps down the hall and has the most fantastic shower I've ever seen. Both the bedroom and the bathroom more than lived up to their representation on Airbnb. Meeting and talking to Alberto made the week very special. I would highly recommend this host and his apartment and hope to return again in the fall.
