Clean, newer building in a quiet residential district. Easy access from Haneda (Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsu station, with a transfer to JR Yamanote line, Osaki station). The JR station is less than a 10 minute walk along a quiet residential street with very little traffic. There is a small shopping center with a grocery store, convenience store, and restaurants nearby. An office building across the street has some restaurants and a few bars as well. Osaki station is only one stop away from Shinagawa, a major transit hub with access to the rest of the greater Tokyo and Kanto area, and one of the Shinkansen stops on the Tokaido line. The Yamanote line also provides easy access to a lot of the nearby sightseeing and tourist destinations as well. The room itself is quite small (studio size) with a double bed, kitchen area (fully furnished with stove/mini-fridge/sink), and ensuite bathroom with a separate showering/bathing room. The sleeping area opens onto a surprisingly large balcony that provides a view of the surrounding area. Room is clean, bright, and most importantly, has a good air conditioning unit if you are planning on booking during Japan's hot and humid summers. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. It's just far enough away from the busier parts of Tokyo to provide a more relaxed and slower pace, but with easy access to nightlife, sightseeing, and more popular areas of the city.

Saria's place was excellent! when i checked-in everything was so clean! wifi's speed was a cherry on top! so pleased with everything! this place is so perfect for a solo traveller - especially for its short distance from Osaki Station to the apartment then with mini market just across the place... just top notch! i really recommend this place to solo traveller... since its a bit too fit for 2, i believe... Saria also quick in responding... thank you so much :)

Saria's place is a real gem. The expansive patio is a rarity in this price range, as is the full size bathroom and washing machine. As a host, Saria is responsive. When I misplaced my paperwork explaining how to get in to the apartment, she responded with the relevant details immediately. It's unlikely you're staying in Tokyo to hang out in the neighborhood where Saria's apartment is. The area around Osaki station is almost always quiet, with not much to do. But the walk to the Yamanote line is unbeatable, and gets you to where you want to go quickly (about halfway between Tokyo and Shinjuku stations). All told we were very pleased with the value we got at such a reasonable price. I'd recommend to any single person or couple traveling through Tokyo.

Great location in a very "happening" city. Everything was within 5 min walking distance; bars, cafe, restaurants, shopping, parks, train station.

Hello fellow travelers!

I am Saria and I have been living in Tokyo since I was born. I have a great passion in the arts, music and sports, though I am not talented in any of them! I also love meeting people from all over the world, discussing about art and music, and giving foreign travelers a better insight on my homeland, Japan.

Let me know if you have any questions - I am more than willing to help you out!

Looking forward to hosting you!
