New to the Hilton Head market, Belle Sirène is a bright & quiet end unit condo in Surf Court is steps away from all of your holiday pleasures. If you want to hit the beach then simply grab your stuff and walk across the street via the off-street bike path & pedestrian x-walk directly in front of our complex. It's only about 200 steps from the condo door to one of the best beaches on the East Coast! In the mood for the pool? Just walk out your back door and you are 20 steps away (gated for toddler security, but FYI no lifeguard) with plenty of green space for the kids to run around and play or throw/kick the ball. The back patio has a lovely live oak tree which provides shade during most of the day. We also have a charcoal grill you are welcome to use & a gas grill (NOTE: $20/per grill cleaning fee if you don't clean them yourself, thanks!).
Our place is a townhouse layout on 2 levels. The 1st level offers a private/gated exterior storage area, open format modern kitchen, laundry area, breakfast bar, dining area, half bath/powder room, living room (queen sleeper sofa & tv) and back patio.
*Possible inflatable twin mattress, please REQUEST if needed.
Level 2 is comprised of two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Both bedrooms have king sized beds. Each upstairs bathroom has an over~sized shower with walk in access & a seat for your safety & comfort. *Inflatable baby tub, potty seat, booster seat & step stools included in the unit!
*For your added PEACE of MIND we also provide emergency exit ladders in BOTH of the 2nd floor bedrooms.
We have the new Apple TV with access to various channels including ESPN, Netflix and others! You don't come to the beach to watch tv...but if you do then you will love this technology. You can also use your iPhone to 'throw' content onto the 42" tv in the living room. There is a DVD player provided as well, in case you want to bring your own movies. *NOTE that this unit does not offer local cable or land line phone services.
There are games and other things to keep you busy in our place for some old fashioned 'traditional' family fun, so please enjoy them. One ask though, PLEASE put the pieces back in the boxes for us & future guests. Thanks.
We have provided a few beach toys & 'nice to have' extras for your comfort & enjoyment (See GUEST GUIDE in the unit) . Please be gentle & care for them so others will have them to use too. If you buy any other beach/pool stuff, feel free to leave it behind if you don't want to drag it back home (in working order...not damaged please).

You have ONE dedicated parking space right in front of the condo and extras available around the property. Condo rules allow for each unit to use TWO parking spaces. The condo is conveniently located on the ground/walk up level, so there are no stairs to climb with beach toys or groceries & no elevators to wait for.
You have full private access to our wonderful 2 bedroom 2.5 bath beach condo. The pool for our guests is right out the back door. *PLEASE follow the pool rules & be considerate to our neighbors during your stay.
Emergency key will be in the lock box, at your time of check in and should be returned, if used, in the same manner at the end of your stay.
*PLEASE communicate your departure time in ADVANCE if possible, so that he can better liaise with the cleaners. Thank you!
Interaction with guests
Contact us via Airbnb, with your arrival time so we will be expecting you and be able to assist you if necessary. We have a keyless entry & emergency lockbox system for immediate onsite entry. No need to wait in line at a rental office for check in & check out or fill out a pile of paperwork after your long trip to HHI. Upon your arrival... PLEASE READ THE 'GUEST GUIDE', as it contains many things about the condo that are both NEED TO KNOW as well as NICE TO KNOW! Throughout your stay, please send us messages with your questions via Airbnb or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). For 'hands on' and urgent matters, we have family and friends on standby who are ready to help! We will have one of these folks who is 'on the ground' in Hilton Head reach out you personally.
Other things to note
The unit also has some other amenities provided, so you won't have to bring everything or go shopping for the first night, first dishes, first load of laundry and so on. START YOUR HOLIDAY AS SOON AS YOU ARRIVE! We go by the 'pay it forward' rule...if you use the last of something, please buy another to replace it. Likewise, if you buy things you don't care to take home and you know others after you can use...feel free to leave them behind if they are at LEAST HALF FULL, WITHIN EXPIRY DATE & NOT DAMAGED/SPOILED in any way.

PAY IT FORWARD & PLEASE SHOW RESPECT:

1.) Treat the place like your HOME, as it will be during your stay!
2.) If you BREAK it please REPLACE it and TELL us.
3.) If you buy necessities, toiletries, condiments, toys or 'booze' that you don't use or want to take home, please feel free to LEAVE them behind.
The next guests will use them.
4.) Please EAT in the DOWNSTAIRS areas ONLY.
5.) Leave the 'furry friends' at home. NO pets, sorry, not our rule, the complex rule.
6.) PLEASE try to keep the beach AT the beach! KICK your sandy shoes off at the door/entry area & feel free to use the faucet/ hose in the outside gated storage area to rinse anything that may need it before bringing it inside. We also have provided clotheslines in BOTH shower stalls for swimsuits & such. Thank you!
7.) HELP us maintain her beauty! Rentals for longer than 2 weeks will be asked to have a 'light cleaning' at a reduced rate of $50 at the end of each 2 week block. *NOTE: On long term rentals this point may be negotiable.
8.) FIRE is NOT our (URL HIDDEN) fire in the apartment please! We have provided amazing battery operated tealights & pillar candles, along with rechargeable battery sets...feel free to use them. Then just recharge when you are finished.
9.) WASHABLEs ARE our friend! NON-staining markers, pens, etc have been provided for the little ones... We have kids too & know accidents happen, just please try to avoid what you can. If you do have a big UH-OH, please let us know & we will have someone come over & try to help you clean it ASAP to avoid permanent damage. Thanks! ;0)
10.) Just say NO to BLEACH in our condo, please.

Airbnb Policy: Any guest who confirms a reservation at your listing will be responsible for damages up to this amount. No charges or authorizations will be made unless you make a claim within 48 hours after check out.
*We have an inventory list provided for you in the 'GUEST GUIDE' in the condo. Look it over at check-in & let us know of any issues within your first 24 hours. Upon check-out the SAME inventory sheet will be used by our cleaning company as well as the post-cleaning inspector (independently). They also have photos of all rooms & items in the unit, should you care to see them & ask a question. We would let you know within 2 days if they both note any problem, so that we can discuss it with you and reach an amicable understanding or agreement before the Airbnb deadline.
We are a family of 4 who have been visiting Hilton Head Island, SC, USA for over 40 years and traveling the world (both with & without kids) for the past 15 or more. We visit Hilton Head, where we have family & friends, at least once a year despite the long journey. We truly enjoy traveling as a family & are ALWAYS keen to experience a new culture or have a new adventure! But some places just capture our hearts and imagination....and we have definitely found our favorites! These are the places we have put down 'roots' and will always return to.
