I am a wife and mother of 2 beautiful boys. I am an accountant by trade, but I am not the stereo-typical accountant (perhaps in some ways). I appreciate style, art, music and culture. I wanted to study Anthropology in college, but opted to go the business and the entrepreneurial route and studied Economics at UCLA. I traveled in Asia and Europe during my single days. I met my husband, Clarence, at non-denominational bible-based church in Los Angeles. He flew me to Paris 16 years ago to propose! It was a whirlwind romance and we have been married for 16 years. My cultural heritage is from the Philippines and Clarence is African American from Omaha, Nebraska. He is a Production Designer in film and television and has an exemplary work with integrity ((URL HIDDEN) He came from a family with creative background and I came from a family with business background.
I love music! I took a leave of absence from my accounting and finance background for 2 years and worked in the music industry, specifically jazz. I had a wonderful and learning experience. I listen to different genres: soft rock, jazz, R&B, trip-hop, electronic, some pop, some country, 70s and 80s, and some gospel.
I have my own company as an accountant. I manage the accounting & finances of 8 companies in diverse industries including real estate, film production, financial services and non-profit. Additionally, I work full time as the Finance & Benefits Manager of Exceptional Minds (EM). EM is a non-profit organization educating young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the fields of multi-media, computer animation & post production. I am proud to be part of this organization! Clarence also owns his own business, designing commercials, film, television and location-based entertainment. He travels to the east coast, Asia and Europe. He has a website but unfortunately it will be hidden here so you can just search him on the web for his body of work.
Clarence and I have 2 boys: Asher is 14 and Gad is 10. They are both wonderful human beings. Asher has Asperger Syndrome, a form of ASD. He is an accomplished tennis player and speaker, despite his challenges. We are committed to his early intervention and advocate for him at school and in the community. He is very affectionate, so when you see him you may get a hugs and kisses. Gad is another amazing child. He is our IT person at home. He loves working in his computer and creating programs & games. With a brother on the spectrum, he is very compassionate and kind. We adore both of our kids!
