A newly renovated 1866 Victorian apartment set in the heart of South Cliff, a stones throw away from the Esplanade and South bay beach. A prime location for experiencing panoramic sea views and easy access to the Cleveland Way offering coastal walks, perfect for dogs. Esplanade escape offers a perfect retreat for solo traveler’s, couples, groups of friends or families. One well behaved dog welcome. Babies also welcome, we provide a travel cot and high chair.

You’ll find the kitchen modern and fully equipped with features such as a refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washer machine. We’ve stocked the kitchen with all the essentials such as pots, pans, bowels, plates and a variety of cooking utensils so that you can enjoy your meals at the stylish breakfast bar. If you want to relax without the hassle of cooking we’ve included contact numbers for the best restaurants and take outs in town. Start your mornings with our coffee maker with a selection of coffee pods. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided. We’ll leave cleaning equipment such as washing up liquid, dish washer and washer machine tablets along with dish cloths and tea towels.

The living room offers a comfortable corner sofa, perfect for lounging, socialising or watching TV, offering a modern design and plush cushions. Soft throws and cushions are provided for a homely feel. There is wall mounted HD TV offering Netflix, Disney + and Apple TV.

Bedroom one

The bedroom features a king sized bed with high quality linen and pillows. The room is tastefully decorated providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our second bedroom offers flexible sleeping arrangements including a versatile zip and link bed. This can be configured as either a double bed or two comfortable single beds making it perfect for couples or friends travelling together. Please let us know your preference setup before arrival and we’ll have it ready for you.
High quality linen and pillows are provided along with bedside tables, reading lamps, Wi-Fi and power outlets for charging devices. There is a wall mounted HD TV offering Netflix, Disney and Apple TV.

The bathroom.

Experience comfort and convenience in our modern, clean bathroom equipped with a Mira electric shower providing instant hot water, a vanity unit with storage space and heated towel rail. We provide fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner and a hair dryer for your use.

Guest access
Fully contained 2 bedroom apartment with access via a communal hallway. Flat 3 is located on the first floor. We operate a self service check in process with a secure lock box and key which is labelled Esplanade Escape. Full details will be provided after booking.

Outside the flat there is free on street parking which is limited to a 3 hour stay with a parking disk which are provided. Please note from 5 pm in the evenings to 9 am in the morning (noon on Sundays) it is free.

On several adjacent streets (within a minutes walking distance) there is ample 24 hr free parking.

I live on a farm just outside Scarborough. I love the rural and coastal countryside and spend time walking my two labradoodle dogs Maggie and Mindy ! Myself and my husband look after the apartment and enjoy providing personal touches that make your stay welcoming. We are always at hand if you need anything and have knowledge on local interests. I work at Scarborough hospital as a sonographer and my husband is a self employed tiler.
