I love the location of Lupito's rustic casa. A lovely walk to the hot springs and areas to explore. The casa is rustic but comfortable and the interconnection with the Mexican family is wonderful! If you need special items for your own style of cooking or other specialties then it is best to bring them. Olga's meals are wonderful so be sure and partake at least once! Usually a camp fire can be built by Lupe for your pleasure. It is wonderful to see the progress they are making towards their dreams. You will love this peaceful setting that offers lovely sounds of goat and cow bells now and then. Evenings can be cool so bring warm cloths and cloths that can get dirty as this is an "earthy" place. Important to note that a Canadian woman, Janette, will be answering your emails and she is extremely informative and helpful! Enjoy!

Lupiyo is extremely kind, thoughtful and accommodating, he even had a couple cervesas waiting for us upon arrival. The outdoor kitchen was great, the bedroom and king size bed were very comfortable and the outdoor shower (with hot water) was wonderful (especially under a full moon). The whole place was clean and the yard was well kept. The restaurant a short walk away and the canyon/swimming/hot springs a short walk the other way up the road are both must-dos when there. The neighborhood people, dogs and cows are all very friendly and welcoming. Several thumbs up, thanks Lupiyo!

Lupe and his wife Olga where there to meet me, along with their 2 ninos. Lovely family. I came late without anything to eat and Olga whipped up a great meal for me, complete with wild pig (done on a Mexican style bbq!) from the mountains, salad, veggy, and rice and beans. Lupe checked on me every evening and showed up at noon for the last day all cleaned up and ready to sit down and chat. Keep the place clean and they are so proud of their place and want to get even better. Loved loved loved that area. So peaceful, trees full of bees, and only a stroll to a unique restaurant (closed 1st of week). Another short walk to the Mountain Park and hot springs/waterfall. Please note that the structure is very rustic and basic, I love it!

My stay here at Lupiyo's cabana was quite nice.  Lupe is both attentive and friendly. The accommodations are  rustic and pleasant. There is a small kitchen area that is adequate for cooking and cleaning.  The bed is comfortable, the patio is shaded, and there is a shower in the bathroom. The cabana is located just outside of El Chorro and a 5 minute walk to the park and arroyo.   What makes this place special is that it is relatively quiet.  The barking dogs and roosters  are in the distance. In the evening you hear cow bells and donkey song. Please come here if you desire quietude, the opportunity to use your legs, and have respect for the local Mexican community. Please go somewhere else with off road vehicles.
