My space is a newly decorated apartment on Frankton Road, lakeside. It has one bedroom, king or twin beds and a bathroom with shower. The lounge /kitchen /dining room leads to a deck with great views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkable Mountains.
The apartment is in a block called Alpine Village. Our apartment is on the end and has the advantage of more light and only one adjoining neighbour! When you arrive you will be able to obtain the key and garage door opener from the lock box. You must park in the garage downstairs . There is internal access up a flight of stairs to the apartment or you can use the front door on Frankton Road to gain entry.
The whole apartment is for your use. Upstairs the kitchen/lounge/dining with deck and also the bedroom and bathroom. Downstairs is the garage and laundry area. When you have confirmed your booking I will send you a code for the lock box which is found to the left of the front door on Frankton Road. You will find a key and also the garage door opener. Please look at my photos to see what the lock box looks like and how to use it!
Interaction with guests
We probably won't meet but you will be able to contact me via phone or email.
Other things to note
In the apartment there is a washing machine for you to use. If you wish to use a dryer just outside the building to the left is a laundry for all Alpine Village apartments to use this costs $3.00 per cycle. The code to get into the laundry room is written in the information folder inside the apartment.
Please treat this home as you would your own!
No smoking allowed even on the deck please!
I have recently decorated it and would really appreciate that you do not use strong smelling pastes or curry spices. Use the kitchen /bathroom fans provided and open the windows to air the apartment, especially when cooking and using the shower. The fire alarms are sensitive and automatically linked to the fire brigade. Security latches are attached to the windows.

I am English and have been living in NZ for 26 years. I have travelled throughout NZ but the Southern Lakes Area is my favourite place to be and I am so lucky that I can live here. We have beautiful scenery and a great climate really suited to the outdoors life. My family enjoy, hiking, biking, boating and skiing in the winter. We also enjoy 4x4 wheel driving.
