About this listing
We live in an old city house from 1854 (no noise because it's a back building) with private garden and direct acces to park with playground in the middle of charming Odense close to cafes, restaurants, venues, museums, shops, galleries, etc.
Unique, charming, cosy city-house from 1854 in the center of Odense City. A 2-room house (livingroom/kitchen and bedroom, 75 m2.) with a repos, 1 bathroom and 80 m2. private garden with direct acces from garden to 1000 m2. closed park with playground (ideal for kids!), fireplace, etc. (only for habitants of the community 'Midgård' which is people living in the close neighborhood). Our house is in the middle of Odense, very close to nice cafées, jazz clubs, venues, bars, restaurants, museums, galleries, shops, supermarkeds (literally only 100 m. away!).
Us and our home:
We are a couple living together, Sharin and Toke. Toke is a musician (music producer/teacher) and Sharin studies comparative literature at the University of Odense. Therefore we have a lot of books (in English - feel free to read!) and also a piano and a guitar (also; feel free to use!). We have a dishwasher in the kitchen and a washing machine in the bathroom. Feel free to use other things from the kitchen (such as spices, sauces, etc.) and from the bar, but please be aware that this is our actual home, so treat it respectfully. In our bedroom we have a computer (27" IMac) which we use as television. Please feel free to use it (guest-user with no password) for internet, movies, music, etc. We also offer free Wi-Fi (10 - 20 mgb).
Access to private garden, closed park with playground, fireplace, table tennis, etc. direct from garden.
Interaction with guests
Usually we will not be home (maybe on holiday) but we will be reachable on our phones, or E-mail. Of course we will have somebody welcoming you and introducing you to our home, giving you the keys, showing you around, etc. We will do all to make sure you have a warm welcome!
We live in a nice, cosy, cultural area in the middle of Odense very close to the best cafes (Café Biografen; cheap and good food), bars (Smagløse; on the same street as our home), restaurants (Bacchus; very recommendable but in the higher price range and maybe book a table in advantage!), venues (Jazz House Dexter; also on the same street, Kulturmaskinen and Magasinet) galleries (Gallerie Rasmus), museums (Brandts Klædefabrik) and of course H. C. Andersen's home in Odense.
Close to the train station (only 10 minutes walk from our home or 5 minutes ride with bus or taxi). Busses arrive every 5 minute nearly right outside.
