The space

Your own private n spacious high floor Penthouse sky loft Living with a huge balcony overlooking one of the best views in Singapore. See photos attached. Breath-taking and spectacular unblocked views of Siglap plains, the Sea, and Marina bay sands and Bukit Timah hill in the distant. Fibre wifi internet access. Watch the sunsets which varies in colours and hues daily. Catch the Fireworks at midnight on New Year's Eve and Eve of Lunar New Year, Live Fireworks from 6th Feb 2016 to 14 Feb, 2016 from own balcony, National day and other major festivities.

Check - in time is usually 2 pm, daily but can be other timings with advance notice. Check-out time is 12 noon daily but can be other timings with advance notice.

Our guest/s have access to all parts of their very own private furnished high floor Loft studio (No need to share space with the Host or other guests) which consists of a proper 1 bedroom with queen-sized bed, 1 or 2 single floor mattresses (on request, no extra charges), vanity mirror,classic dresser, chair, spacious wardrobe and ensuite bathroom, a living room with huge balcony with amazing views of the City skyline and the Sea, a study/dining/work/office area, a kitchen (light cooking allowed) with small yard and balcony and a back door. Please see photos attached for your viewing convenience. Guests have the whole high floor Loft studio apartment all to themselves with 100 % privacy and come and go as they wish with their own key.

INSIDE APARTMENT: Refrigerator, Washing machine; Hair dryer, Electric Iron, etc. Kitchen: Microwave oven, Grill toaster, Coffee maker, Eating and Light cooking utensils, Fruit/Vegetable juicer/grinder, Electric/Instant water boiler.

We provide bath towels, bed sheets, blankets & pillow cases; soaps, shampoo, hand lotions, toilet paper, kitchen towel, dish detergent, floor mop and floor cloth.

Its a good class, quiet and safe neighbourhood away from the crowds in the City and yet only 15 mins away by taxi /cab to the city. It is just 8 minutes on foot to the Sea, Sand and Beach. And 8 to 10 mins on foot to Siglap village where the local pubs, bistros, KFCs, Starbucks, banks, clinics, shops, etc

You have full access and use of your very own private high floor Loft studio apartment consisting of 1 bedroom with ensuite bathroom, living room n large balcony, study area, kitchen nested within a lush greenery, vibrant/safe good neighbourhood & walk to SiglapEast, bistros/shops, banks/ATMs, and Sea/beach n eateries.

It is a quiet neighbourhood and everyone plays a part in keeping the music and noise volume low. But if you want to let your hair down and live the life and make all the noise you want, please head on down to the East coast Sea and Beach, 8 minutes on foot from the condo. Or stroll down to Siglap East, where the hip, restless and the trendy are, enjoying their gourmet coffee and beverages, in bistros, wine clubs, pubs, music bars, KFC, Starbucks, gourmet ice cream, italian/german/chinese/Vietnamese and indian restaurants, etc, with friends and working executives and families, pets, etc. ENJOY !!

We also appreciate and expect our guests to behave appropriately, with respect and discreetly while staying in our apartment.

The residents or neighbours are friendly as they go about their daily lives, just smile or give a friendly wave, and tell them that you are my friends staying over if they ask. The residents here tend to mind their own business in keeping with the peaceful and stress-free atmosphere.

The Loft studio apartment is well ventilated with natural breezes and winds, cross ventilations and further supplemented by electric fans and air-con throughout the house, as follows,

++ You will be comfortable with the energy efficient electric Fans and natural breezes/winds going into the apartment, throughout the apartment and really one do not need to switch ON the Air-cons, unless necessary.


(a) Please remember to close all windows, doors and the sliding balcony door before switching ON the Air-conditioners (air-cons) to facilitate cooling and saving electricity and doing your bit to lower the carbon emissions/footprint for Mother Earth.

(b) Please also switch OFF all Air-conditioners (air-cons), Lights, Electric Fans n Equipment, Gas and Water and water Heater, before going out/ leaving the apartment, to prevent utilities wastages.

Please remember to close all windows, and the sliding balcony door, before leaving the apartment, as it may rain while you are away from the house.

Remember to lock the house door after you.

Please do not wear shoes within the house.

Do not conduct any illegal activities.

Please keep the apartment clean and orderly before you leaving, ready for the next guest.

The apartment is definitely retro - the facilities within the apartment are quite basic and could use a spruce-up. But that's not why we stayed there. It was a super-short walk to the East Coast Parklands, the grounds of the building were lovely (no access to the pool but that's clear in the listing), and we could take our dog. Ann was very welcoming, and had lots of clear instructions around the home.

If you are looking for a super value place to stay in Singapore. This is the place!! Especially if you like to be close to everything..but also like to relax when you come home at night after sight seeing etc. It's just a short walk (4 mins) to the beach and all of the beautiful surrounding parks. The apartment is super super clean and modest.. with everything you need.. wifi, kitchen, tv etc.. plus not to mention the view from the balcony.. Ann the host is the best!!.. all the little touches she does to make you feel at home... from photos or surprise deliveries of fresh bread from the bakery and drinks..She really is truly a 5 star airbnb host... we only wish we had more time to spend there.. hope to be back soon

Apartment is spacious and clean but tired. Bed was not very comfortable, but no street noises and apartment is quiet. A blind was missing in the bedroom - thankfully I'm an early riser. More suitable for a homestay traveler rather than business traveler.

I stayed with my family (4 persons) here for 3 days. We had a wonderful experience in Ann's house. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. Ann was very helpful in providing information right from the day I started to chat with her. But still can improve on the quality of doors. Some of the doors in hall and kitchen were unable to open. Looking forward to stay in Ann's house in the future.

Hi Analan, You and family are welcome back to stay with us again. Thank you for keeping the apartment clean and neat. As hosts, we are aware that all the eclectic green wooden art doors work well (can open and close smoothly), except for two non-essential doors (one at the kitchen and another at the patio facing the living room), and we have informed you not to use these doors and to treat them as art or interesting fixture in the house since such vintage doors are no longer manufactured by any company that I know of. To replace these doors with conventional or mainstream doors would have been a real shame or a waste, and since these are not essential doors, we thought we just leave these two doors as they are and complement the other working aesthetic doors. Thanks for your feedback. cheers !
