Description

On the 1st floor of a typical Brussels townhouse, you will feel at home in a large apartment, which opens into a comfortable sitting room with sofabed, a desk, a fitted kitchen area, shower room and a very quiet bedroom opening on to a pretty terrace.

It opens on to a sitting room with SmartTV, armchair and sofa bed on one side, and an eating area on the other. The separate bedroom has a double bed and there is a shower room. The apartment also has a pretty open air patio/terrace. Close to all city centre amenities (cinemas, theatres, museums, restaurants, the fashion district, historic buildings), near to the Brussels North business centre and within easy reach of the European Quarter, this newly renovated apartment is comfortable and quiet, and measures approx 50m2. Everything is easily accessible (on foot, or by bus, tram or metro/subway, all of which are close by).

Guests have the use of a laundry (washing machine and tumble dryer) in the basement.

Having lived in Brussels for more than 20 years, there's not much about the city that my husband Daniel and I don't know. We are available to give you any information you may require, be it concerning getting around, tourist sights or cultural events.

The apartment is very well located; you can go everywhere on foot. There is a cinema 100 m away, a theatre 50 m away. Shops (food and clothes) and restaurants are also very near. And it offers a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The apartment is exactly between the metro Rogier , De Brouckere, and Yser.
North railway station is very close too.
There are MANY buses on this area.

We had a great stay in Ines' apartment. The apartment was clean and spacious, with a modern bathroom and kitchen appliances. The neighborhood was relatively quiet and not too far of a walk to restaurants and the nearest metro stop. Ines' husband was waiting for us when we checked in, and checking out was very easy as well.

Very nice place, even though at night the neighbourhood is not too nice. Inez is a very friendly and helpful host. It was my first time in Brussels and she gave me exactly the right type of information for having a good overview in town. Especially her mention of the Renee Magritte Museum!

We had a lovely stay in Inès' apartment. The bedroom is set far back from an already quiet street, down a flight of stairs, so it was very quiet and we slept very soundly. The apartment is beautifully decorated, with lots of lovely details in fine taste, and best of all there is a Nespresso machine! We had many comfortable and caffeinated mornings enjoying the view of our quiet street. Inès kindly provided a number of helpful guidebooks (Eyewitness, 500 Hidden Secrets of Brussels) and maps that we used to plan our days. Our daughter (17 months old) loved practicing going up and down the bathroom steps (with help), but we especially appreciated the door that separates the bathroom and bedrooms (and their steps) from the kitchen and living room, so that she could not go into that area without supervision. There was plenty of room for her travel crib in the bedroom (and Inès also offered one if we needed, but we were already lugging ours to another destination anyway). There was no highchair, but our daughter enjoying perching on the top of a stepstool for her breakfast (with supervision!). The laundry machines (separate washer and dryer) in the basement were a huge help too! The neighborhood was nice and quiet but only 2 blocks from great restaurants and the Metro. We especially loved a hip Ethiopian place nearby called Toukoul - packed every night, with amazing food. The apartment is the perfect distance from everything - a 10-15min walk max to the Bruxelles-Centrale or Bruxelles-Nord stations and the Grand-Place, and the great restaurants and bars dotting the Quai aux Briques/Quai aux Bois à Brûler. We had a fabulous trip, and only wish we could have stayed longer.

Ines's apartments was one of the most nicely decorated, and spotlessly clean places I've ever stayed. It has a very interesting, open space architecture, and has all the amenities one may need. All the little details, and decor was very well selected. Ines was an incredibly welcoming host, and you can see that she really cares for her guests, and trying to make them feel welcome. I would strongly recommend staying at any of the places she rents.

Lovely quirky flat, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Ideal for a short mid-week stay in Brussels and conveniently located. Ines was most helpful and provided amenities such as coffee, tea, butter, etc, which were greatly appreciated. Would be very happy to return.

Mother of 3 children, I was a journalist for 20 years in the gardens. I had written two books on the subject. I share with my husband, who is designer, a same passion for decoration. I had a crush on this charming apartment in attic when I bought it, and with my husband I had renovated it for guests there are the best.
