Hi host community,
Here is our charming and bright 60 m² apartment in the heart of Venice (Cannaregio area) in a historic 16th century palace. At the end of a cul-de-sac overlooking the canal, you won't be disturbed by the noise.

This is a family palace where only I, my uncle and my aunt live, so you won't be disturbed by neighborhood noise.
My apartment, which I live in, is just above yours.

The space
At the end of a dead-end alley overlooking the canal, away from the noise and tourist crowds, Palazzo Muti has a very strategic and ideal location for a great stay.
Both on foot and by Vaporetto as several stops are close to the apartment:
(Madonna dell'Orto/San Marcuola/Ca' Doro/Fondamente Nove) all within 10 minutes

Come and stay in this retro 70s style apartment, nestled on the edge of the canal, offering a peaceful and warm atmosphere. Perfect for a relaxing getaway for couples, or just for friends.

The apartment is a haven of peace, while being steps away from the main amenities: shops, restaurants, public transport and more. Whether you're here for a relaxing stay or a city getaway, you'll appreciate the tranquility of the place while being close to everything the city has to offer.

Equipped with everything you need to make your stay pleasant, it is perfect for a weekend or extended stay. Come and discover the charm of a unique design, in a soothing setting, and let yourself be seduced by this apartment that will make you feel at home.

The apartment has a large, very bright double bedroom with bed (160 x 200) for a good night's sleep, an HD plasma screen TV (Prime Video, Netflix and Rai+ included), a living room with a sofa and a library with several books on the history of art and the history of Venice that you can consult, a bathroom completely renovated in 2023 with large walk-in shower, toilet, bidet and sink and a fully equipped and renovated kitchen in 2025 with all the comforts for your stay. Here you will find everything you need to cook like cooking oil, salt, tea, herbal teas, sugar and coffee for Italian or soluble coffee maker.
All the double-glazed windows of the apartment overlook a very pretty and peaceful canal; if you're lucky you might even see gondolas passing by.

CAUTION ⚠️
the apartment does not have AIR CONDITIONING for ecological reasons and because we are in a historic 16th century palace so we do not have the right to damage the facade.
- However, there is a very convenient CEILING FAN in the master bedroom.

Guest access
Regarding your arrival in Venice,
you have two solutions.

- ATVO shuttle bus (€10/pers.) Airport – Piazzale Roma then on foot it takes 20/25 minutes to reach the apartment. It also depends on how much luggage you have.

- Alilaguna boat shuttle (€16/pers) Airport – Madonna dell'Orto then 5/10 min walk. This stop is really very close to the apartment.

Tickets can be purchased directly online or at Marco Polo and Treviso Airport (check the terms and conditions of sale), as well as the schedules and travel times.

The entire space will be at your disposal. Wi-Fi is free and works throughout the house.

Other things to note
The mandatory tourist tax in Venice is 3 euros per person per night. The municipality also requires a photo of the identity card or passport of both tenants; this is a mandatory procedure.

- The tourist tax is paid in cash upon arrival at the apartment or by private request before arrival via AIRBNB.

If you have any questions about the tourist tax, I invite you to check the Venice municipality website as well as the tourist office or contact AIRBNB directly, thank you.

Neighbourhood highlights

In a still Venetian neighborhood, the area is surrounded by churches, bridges, canals, close to the Jewish ghetto, the Fondamenta della Misericordia and the ACTV and Alilaguna vaporetto stops.

Close to the main street (Strada Nuova) and all amenities:
Supermarkets, bakeries, bars, restaurants and Vaporetto stops (ACTV boat). The Alilaguna stop for the connection between Marco Polo Airport and the apartment is just a 5-minute walk (Madonna dell'Orto stop) or (Fondamente Nove) 10 minutes' walk from the apartment.

The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the train station, a 15-minute walk from the Rialto Bridge and a 20-minute walk from Piazza San Marco, so it's ideally located for visiting the city.
