Nestled between the river and ocean its hard to decide which direction to head.
OK, River first...
Two blocks to the east is George Street. Well known for the George Street Festival and a host of small groovy cafes, bars and restaurants.
A little further down the road and you are at the glorious Swan River. Enjoy a meal or drinks at the Left Bank, The Dome cafe or take a picnic and watch a classic West Coast Sunset complete with black swans and yachts.
Just as close to home but to the west is Fremantle's legendary Cafe Strip, the Fremantle Market and all the attractions of the area. Indulge yourself and walk it all off with a stroll along the quant streets of Fremantle.

The free CAT bus service picks up and drops off passengers just one block from your accommodation. Providing a loop service to Fremantle train station and town centre, buses run every 15 mins from 7.30 am - 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am-6.30pm Saturday and Sunday.

With close proximity to High Street, Canning Highway and CAT bus services - everything is possible with minimum fuss.

Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation

Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.

Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.


The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments.

Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.

Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10:00 by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests. Late check out is possible if there are no check ins imminent.

Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental.

Linen is supplied.

Pets are not allowed.

Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.

We really enjoyed our stay in Fremantle. The house is lovely and just a quick 15 minute walk from the centre of town. There are plenty of local amenities and lots to do in the surrounding area. Alison was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Excellent value for money- would definitely recommend Alison's place to anyone thinking of staying in Freo.

We were looking for a nice, comfy, well located spot in one of our favourite places for a very low key rest break. Alison's place looked like it would fit the bill, and it certainly did! The decor was friendly and welcoming with cosy, comfortable furniture. Though it is in a medium sized block of apartments the neighbours were very quiet, even on weekends! (We did enjoy listening to the pianist who provided a gentle musical backdrop :-) ) The beds were comfy and warm, even though the weather was freezing, and a small gas heater warmed the lounge in the evenings. Heaps of hangers were a welcome find in the bedroom- too often there aren't any. There were plenty of towels and gallons of hot water for the shower. The kitchen is quite well equipped and if you're self catering you will find it all easy. There's a stop for one of the free CAT buses about five minutes' walk away, as well as a large park, and a few cafes and restaurants in walking distance and more easily accessed by public transport. There were lots of brochures on hand to assist tourists looking for things to do and see, and a map of the CAT bus routes to assist with planning. It really is a home away from home and I have no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends looking for a similar break.

Alison's apartment is well equipped with everything we need. It is also only a few minutes drive to Fremantle market, Esplanade park and the fishing boat harbour. We arrived in Perth very early in the morning and Alison was very kind to allow us to check in early to rest. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at Alison's apartment and will definitely recommend anyone visiting Fremantle to stay here.

Amazing from start to finish!! Alison is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Heaps of communication and even called when I hadn't seen her message :) The apartment was very cute and plenty of room for the three of us easily. Knowing we were coming in so late she had the unit heated and two lamps on which was very welcoming. Only a couple of minute drive to Fremantle but there is public transport close as well. We absolutely loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone!! Thanks Alison if I come back I will definitely look to be staying in your place again

A very pleasant stay was had at Alison's. The location was great for me as I was attending dance workshops on high street so it was good to have a nice 15 min walk to where I needed to be. Bed was nice and comfy and pillows were good. Was nice to have a few kitchen supplies as well. Alison's communication was excellent.
