Sacred Beji was built using locally sourced materials, traditional techniques and crafted by local artisans. With natural textures and finishes, the design of the villa focuses on natural beauty, artisanal craftsmanship and the natural environment, particularly its birds.

Sacred Beji is located in Giri Kusuma eco-resort in the rural village of Melinggih, approximately 30 minutes from the art galleries, restaurants and spirituality of downtown Ubud. Nestled in the slopes of Mount Batur, the cool air and water will provide the perfect restorative after any visit to the heat of the lowlands or your adventures elsewhere on the Island of Bali.

Sacred Beji is a part of the Pramana Giri Kusuma resort and is under the same high standard of management. Guests get access to all facilities of the resort, including the restaurant, pools and spa.
If your curiosity about the culture of this extraordinary place has been stimulated and your sense of adventure aroused, then we have the perfect daytime activities. Take a walk down the mystical Giri Kusuma Holy Canyon, towards the lush rice fields of Payangan. On your journey learn about the rich history of the island and its inhabitants. Suitable attire can be provided on request for this gentle river walk accompanied the entire way by our expert guide.
Our purification ceremony is designed to cleanse the mind and body of negative energy, while our professional masseurs will soothe and relax your body and mind. Massage therapy is also available in your room. We can also help arrange Mount Batur sunrise adventure and other activities.

Other things to note
While Sacred Beji is by no means in the wilderness, it is an integral part of nature and not separate from it. You may come across birds, geckoes, insects, spiders and other small creatures. Please treat them with respect and love as Bali is their home too. They are harmless if left alone. If you wish them to be removed, our staff will kindly help you with this.

Our villas are located in sunlit forest and are accessed by a footpath that has steps up and down and crosses a bridge over the sacred stream. Please ensure that the members of your party are old and fit enough to manage these unaided. As the rooms are on stilts, we do not allow children under 12 years of age.

We cannot accept complaints or requests for a refund based on natural occurrences.

A set breakfast (American, Continental or Indonesian) can be provided in the restaurant or in your room at an additional charge.
